"late bloomer" (chapter 4)

no ones pov

it was a lazy afternoon, in the dorm of the four boys (kuroo,bokuto,daichi and iwaizumi). kuroo and bokuto were just laying lazily on the couch kuroo looking through the channels on the tv, while bokuto was scrolling through his phone.iwaizumi was in his room listening to music while probably studying, daichi was out buying groceriec.Usually bokuto and kuroo would help daichi but after the last time they got kicked out daichi didn't want them to come with him anymore.In the end the boys had nothing to do than just laying around and being bored.Maybe they could play some games on the Playstation, but neither of them had the energy nor the motivation for it, so they just continued to lay around.The window was open so you could feel the air filling the room (like yk when it's not cold but it's not that war it's just perfect 😀 yuh if there'a a name for it i forgot 😗). From the outside you also could hear the birds chirping and students talk about college and stuff.All in one was it an pretty relaxing atmosphere.
Sometimes when you had luck you could see some squirrel climbing in the trees,but that wasn't very often since there were so many humans always around.
"Hey Bo", Kuroo said and broke the silence just like that.
"Yeah?", Bokuto answered while stretching, maybe laying around wasn't that good, because both of them were kinda sleepy.
"Don't you ever wonder what your soulmate could do right now?"
"Not really..."
Kuroo raised an eyebrow: "Never? I mean if you think about it, the initials on your wrist are from a person out there who has a life and friends and-"
"Okay stop right there, I am too lazy to think about complicated stuff right now."
"What do you mean complicated, I think it's really simple. It's a person out there who you will end up to love and they will probably also love you."
Bokuto sighed. His friend always was fascinated by the whole soulmate thing ever since his friend got his initials.Kuroo always was searched for  person that also had 'k' written on their wrist,the only problem was that a lot of first names start with 'k' and for a person that had an soulmate wasn't really the first thing to say "hey my name is ***** ****** and i have a soulmate whichs first letter starts with '*' " in their couses were actually a lot of people that had 'k' as their first letter so bokuto didn't really feel lucky.you may wonder now why kuroo was so interested in the whole soulmates thing.it was because he was something a bit different.kuroo was a late bloomer which could mean that maybe in a last life him and his soulmate didn't work out or that this was his first life with the other being his soulmate.so knowing that someone probably had an perfect relationship with their soulmat in their past life  was something really special.
The things that were different with late bloomers weren't just that he got the letter written on his wrist later it was also that he had instead of only the letter of the first name he had also the one of the surname on his wrist, which was 'k.k.'.
people that had names like this and who were also in kuroo's couses were for example:
Kaku Kaede, pretty nice girl but she is really moody and not really Kuroo's type.
Second one: Kadokawa Kasumi, it cannot be her since she already had a girlfriend.
And the last one: Kamimura Karu, first of all is straight and has other initials on his own wrist.

Bokuto never really understood why Kuroo was so interested in the whole soulmate thing.Sure it was interesting, but why don't you wait till the time is right to meet them?

The two boys fell into silence again. Till a notification plopped up on Kuroo's phone.

"Lemme guess, it's a notification that Kozuken is streaming again",
Bokuto said bored. Kuroo once clicked on one of the boys streams out of boredom and now he's obsessed with them, mainly because he might have a slight crush on the streamer even tho he just can hear his voice and see the avatar.
"100 points for Bokuto please, he guessed right. But now if I can ask for silence please, thank you",Kuroo answered while clicking on the stream

And they fell in silend again,just now in the background you could hear the voice of a streamer and the sounds of the game he's playing.
And with that Bokuto knew, Kuroo wouldn't speak in some time till the stream was done.

Maybe I should text to Kaashi, it already passed a day.

And so he ended up texting him.

Am I ending the chapter here and giving all the  work and dialogue between the two of them to Akaashi (I mean sunerseyeliner, but like she said I call her Akaashi and she calls me Bokuto)? yepp, sorry not sorry love ;P
this chapter was also made to clear up a few things about our AU and here is our funfact of the day:
Speeking of Akaashi, did you know somehow we are long missed twins? No you didn't? Then let me tell you this, everyday there is at least one thing that is nearly the complete same with both of us. So it's like we share the same brain sometimes.
