Poem 1: Why

Hurt, Angered, Resentful
These are the words that describe my feelings towards you.
You seem like an angel, lies.
You're the devil in disguise.
You're a rouse, a truth unforgotten,
And deep down my hate still is begotten.
You pretended and left me feeling so hopeless.
Never again, Never again, I say, will I ever feel so hopeless.
I know my prize, a star in the heaven.
And all my days to come,
I count them in sevens.
Your betrayal was expected, but I had faith.
Silly me, I was clueless.
And it's not that I hate you for it.
I understand why you did it,
You dodged a hit.
I would have done it too,
Then catched you and lifted you up your feet.
You could have told me,
We could have worked it out.
Now it's too late. Cemented.
Planted in the deep roots of time.
Now all I ask is why.
All I ask is why.
