today was a normal day. well, it was supposed to be a normal, regular day where both roommates and best friends [name] and tou would laze around their apartment complex since it was the weekend and the two had no classes nor tou having to attend their part time job as it was tou's day off.

today was supposed to be just the two of them, [name] and tou being lazy and have a movie marathon while stuffing their mouths off of a lot of food. but the two's other friends had other plans and had dragged both [name] and tou out of their cozy apartment complex to go to the park to "enjoy the sun" they said.

[name] did not fucking expected tou to do this though as the two's friends left them behind for a moment to buy both the whole group some snacks in a seven-eleven nearby...

[name] let out a shaky breath as their eyes locked at tou's, who was down on one of their knees and holding a small box in their hands.

"oh my fucking god," [name] weakly whispered as they saw their vision getting blurred from the upcoming tears that were threatening to fall. "tou... oh my god... tou you didn't!"

tou only gave a grin at the tearing up [name] as they opened the box to have the world to witness and see and ring inside.

"oh, yes i did," tou casually said as they looked at [name] in the eye.

"[name]," tou started as they saw [name] was tearing up more. "would you make me the happiest man alive and be my partner in crime?" with those words, [name] nodded their head in agreement as the tears fall down their eyes.

"yes! oh my god yes!" [name] yelled as they smiled at tou who was grinning happily at their answer to their proposal. "i will be your partner in crime tou—"

"jesus christ, what the hell are you two dorks doing?" cn, a close friends of the two asked as they arrived with paper bags of their snacks inside.

"is that a ring pop?" nyan, another close friend of the two asked, baffled as they took a closer look at the supposed ring pop that tou had. "oh my god, thats a ring pop," nyan said.

"i was proposing to [name] to be my partner in crime," tou casually said as they stood up from their kneeling position and then shrugged from the looks they received from cn and nyan.

"tou was and i also said yes," [name] laughed as they slapped tou's arm. "give me my ring pop," [name] continued as tou rolled their eyes and throw the box with the ring pop inside to [name] who caught it and laughed when they opened to see the ring pop inside.

"also, rude, i thought we had something tou!" nyan said as they than pouted. "isnt [name] always your partner in crime though?"

"first off, we are partners in crime but [name] is the partner in crime," tou said as [name] giggled.

"your only saying that because im your roommate and i have to buy you food when your too lazy to do it yourself," [name] said as they then giggled when they saw tou gave a mock hurt expression towards them.

"bro, stop exposing me," tou said as they then chuckled. "but yeah, so true."

"anyways, second off, i wanna do something dramatic today so this is it," tou explained as cn shakes their head at their explanation on doing a fake proposal in the park where people had witnessed it.

"god, you two are so weird sometimes," cn sighed as they then smiled at their friends.

"aw, but thats our charm cn!" nyan chirped as they giggled when cn sighed again.

"yeah cn, its our charm," tou sang as they walked towards cn and slung and arm on cn's neck and gave a lazy grin at them. "besides, its funny."

[name] giggled at the exasperated look cn sent to tou as they walked closer to the group.

"you guys are dorks," cn chuckled as tou rolled their eyes at cn's comment. nyan giggled while [name] laughed out loud.

"yeah, you love us though," tou said as they then grabbed the paper bag away from cn's grasp. "now come on, im hungry and need me sustenance!" tou said as they marched off to the bench where it was close to a tree that provided a shade from the sun.

"hey! wait up!" [name] yelled as they run after their official partner in crime as nyan giggled at seeing both of their friends being dorks.

"oi! you two better save some snacks for us!" nyan yelled as they took cn's arm and began to drag cn to the two.

yeah, this was a normal day for them.
