Yip blinked open her eyes and looked up at her Mother-Dog "Mother-dog?"
"Yes?" Mother-Dog smiled as she spoke.
"Can I go outside now?"
Mother-Dog chuckled "Wait for Howl and Grunt to wake up."
Yip prodded Howl's side "Howl! Wake up!"
Howl groaned "Why did you have to do that Yip? I was having this wonderful dream abo-"
Yip prodded her again "Get up! Mother-dog is gonna let us go outside the den!"
Howl rolled onto her paws and let out a yawn as Yip leapt at Grunt and nipped his ear "Come on Grunt! Mother-dog is letting us go outside!"
Grunt shook his shaggy spotted fur then looked at Yip, his tongue lolling happily "Really? Let's go then!"
Mother-Dog raised her head "Stay inside camp, pups. And no poking your noses into other dogs' dens while they're sleeping."
The three pups nodded "Yes Mother-dog." They chorused.
Yip batted her brother's nose then ran out of the den "Last one at the edge of camp is a fat rabbit!" She called after her siblings
