I sighed in relief as the bell finally rang, freeing us all from this boring lesson that I didn't really see the point of. I place my hands on the desk, pushing myself up and gathering my notebook along with my pens, pencils, markers, and sharpies.
I glance around the classroom looking for a certain rainbow haired friend of mine eventually spotting them with their head down sleeping. A small smile made its way onto my lips, as I walked over and gently shook them "Hey Akio, class is over." I whispered, careful not to scare them.
I smiled again when I was met with purple eyes fluttering open and glancing up at me. Akio nodded and lazily got their things together seemingly waking up in the process. They smiled at me "Thanks for waking me up Izu!" They said as we began to exit the classroom.
When we were out, I immediately spotted our other friends Kaito, Ichiro, and Hayato hanging around the lockers waiting for us. I glanced over tapping Akio on the shoulder causing them to look over "Yes?" They asked, I pointed over to the three "They're right there, come on" I said and walked over waving at the trio.
"Heya guys!" I said cheerfully earning a mix of Heys and Hi's. We chatted there for a bit about how boring classes were before Hayato spoke up "Oh guys! There's an exam coming up and we need to study" he said looking around at us "And you can't get out of it, if you idiots fail again I will lose my mind" he added mostly glaring at Kaito and Ichiro who grumbled and looked away.
I laughed at their reactions before getting an idea "Why don't we go to that cafe down the road and study there? It's a great place to study!" I suggested looking around at them. "Yea, sure that sounds like fun" Akio said smiling as the rest of the group agreed.
Timeskip to the Cafe by Izuku's horrible sleeping schedule.
We arrived at to the cafe, in 10 minutes. It would've been 5 but we saw a puppy and asked the owner if we could pet it causing us to get distracted.
"You guys can go sit, I'll order our drinks and snacks!" I offered already knowing what each of them and myself wanted since we almost always get the same thing. They all smiled and thanked me walking over to a table for five that was by the window.
I turned away from them gong to walk up to the register only to bump into someone's back and stumble backwards, thankfully barley catching myself on a nearby empty table. I quickly apologized bowing at a 90 degree angle "ImSoSorryIWasntWatchingWhereIWasGoing!" I quickly said only to be met with small chuckle.
"It's fine!" I heard a voice say and stood up straight coming face to face with a guy with above shoulder length hair, black eyes, and a gentle smile.
I smiled back relived that he forgave me for bumping into him, he opened his mouth to say something but stopped due to his name being called "Hanta Sero!" The lady at the counter called.
'Hm, Hanta Sero...what a nice name' I thought before shaking my head and walking up ordering our drinks and snacks. Once I'd received our orders I walked to the table they'd chosen and handed out everything.
"Thanks Izu!" They all said in unison before staring to eat, I smiled "your welcome guys!" I said setting my notebooks and other things I needed to study neatly on the table. We all studied in silence, only speaking when we had questions but they mostly came from Kaito and Ichiro.
While I was writing i suddenly heard them calling my name causing my hand to stop and me to quickly look up "Yes?" I asked sort of confused. "We've said your name six times, are you alright?" Hayato asked removing his glasses to clean them before sliding them back onto his face.
'I must've zoned out' I thought before flashing a smile "Yes, I'm fine sorry! I was just focused" I said nervously scratching the back of my neck. They all looked at me for a few more seconds then went back to their own work. Technically, I wasn't lying, I was focused but it wasn't on my work...I was thinking about...him for some reason.
