"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"
The voice of her teammate came through the comms to the commander of the other tank as she was scanning the horizon with her binoculars.
Karin: For the misfortune of the enemy team I do see them
Responded the female with a soft and serious tone of voice as she counted the enemy tanks advancing slowly in a column towards the south-east of the encounters battlegrounds.
Karin: What are the specifications, Monika?
Mumbled back the commander as she left the binoculars on her lap and her hands went ahead to grab the rangefinder which was stored inside the satchel near her.
"About 2400 meters all advancing at 30 km/h"
Karin: Hm...
Karin quickly turned on the range finder and double-checked for herself. 2432 meters away from them the column of 5 tanks advanced at a decent speed on the dirt road near the hills and northern forest. If she had to guess they were hurrying towards the thick of the battle going on in the eastern flank where currently the rest of their platoon was having an exchange of firepower with the 3rd platoon of the enemy team.
"Those 90 mm's on their tanks could be a problem for the rest of our platoon"
Karin: Hm...
"Karin?"
Her teammate looked over at her from the commanding position of her tank, both their tanks laid in ambush far from the only intersection of roads in the eastern flank of the battlegrounds of this encounter action-packed.
Karin lowered her rangefinder as she looked at the right meeting gazes with Monika who sat like her on top of their Königstiger's turret, both Monika and Karin had great part of their legs inside the turret through the commander's hatch so they could easily jump back into their vehicle whenever they needed. Karin's right hand then gently raised up and stayed close to her throat microphone.
Karin: They won't be if we stop them before they reach our teammates, remember to double-check the energy of your shield device, we don't want to die from a little mess up do we?
Karin after answering swiftly changed the channel of her comms back to her crewmates and slung the satchel back over her shoulder as she jumped back inside her Tiger B.
Monika: *Sigh* Lieber Gott (Dear god)
Muttered Monika doing the same as her teammate, upon closing the hatch, however, the female quickly checked her shield device while she directed herself to their radio operator to use their long-range frequency to get in contact with the rest of their team.
Monika: Contact Vera
Radio OPR: Rogered
Replied the crewmate while doing what she was told, taking her only some seconds before getting their frequency and letting her commander borrow the device.
Monika: This is Monika speaking do you hear me, Vera?
"Loud and clear but we are a bit occupied with this enemy platoon right now!"
Monika: A platoon of heavily armed tanks is going your way, we will take care of them and try to assist you two soon, try to not get knocked out before we can get to you
"Aaaaaah! Thanks for the extra pressure of knowing we might get flanked!"
Monika: If I remember correctly you loved the pressure of battle?
