She watched him disappear into the darkness as the doors closed in his wake. Her heart had stop beating for a few seconds, air rushing out of her body as if she was knocked off her feet…and wouldn’t that be better at least if someone had hit her physically then the hurt would just go away…not like this.

“L..Lai..to..” she said as she fell to the ground unable to breathe. Pushing herself up, she did her best to not fall down as she ran unsteadily to the door, pounding it with all her might, clawing at the door until her fingers bled. “Please…don’t go and leave me again…you always leave me”. Her cries echoed in through the house and was heard outside the door where he stood, his face, down hidden behind his think sardonyx locks as droplets of water felt to the earth.

“It’s raining bitch-chan…why did you have to make it rain…nee” he said as he straightened himself, fixed his fedora and walked into the darkness, leaving what was left of his heart behind the doors that he had willingly closed.

So that was it then. He didn’t care about her that was much was sure, she wished she never met him, she never fell for his charm, for the deep sadness that she saw in his eyes. The love she felt for him was only exchanged with pain, sadness and loneliness…and now her death.

Her body felt lifeless like it had lost its will to move when she heard someone speaking “Dear we are going to undress you now, a lady such as yourself must not been seen like this by men” the owner had whispered in her left ear but what did it matter now, those men had their eyes on her and will soon have their way with her body…they couldn’t take her heart she thought, Laito already did that when he decided her faith. It seemed that she will never be allowed happiness. If she was then life would make sure to ruin it.

In her last desperation she reached deep down inside her and opened the door to her long ago closed mausoleum and shut the door, in her mind she laid and waited for her death.

How many times must she die in order to live? How many times must she suffer because of love?

She felt hands unbuttoning her shirt, unzipping her blouse and tagging at her underwear, cutting the straps to her bra with golden scissors saying she won’t be needing those as hands cupped and squeezed her breasts. She felt disgusted, her skin felt as if she was covered with slimy insects. She wanted to run, just run and get away, run until she couldn’t run anymore.

She willed herself to feel nothing, it would be difficult after all this time but she had to do it, and if not then this was her end. No more. Her mind body and soul was screaming at her. Has she reaching her toll?

What was she to laito? A play thing that he could throw away while saying I love you to her and secretly hiding in the shadows and cuddling and saying the same things to a clandestine love? She knew he was lying, he lied to her before why wouldn’t he lie again?

Laughter escaped her lips, the sound echoed through the great structure that everyone stopped whatever they were doing and looked at her. The sound of her laughter betrayed her as it broke and the only thing that could be heard was her whining and sobs that for a second a tear slide down the cheek of the owner. The proprietor quickly wiped it of least one of her subordinates see. As the owner it should be strictly business, what the customer feels should be none of her concern, all that she should care about was the money that the patron paid for.

He heard her cries from the rooftop of the brothel as he gazed and cursed the blood red moon that haunted his existence. His heart broke he broke her…”You deserve everything bitch-chan” he said in a soft broken whisper “You deserve everything…” but he knew in his heart that he was only doing this because of the full moon and he could go back inside and save her but he didn’t.

To be continued...maybe...
