The ranch ( heartland fanfic)

Greetings

*Vanessa's pov*

Ever since my mom died saving a horse with my sister Amy, I have fallen into a deep depression. I never knew my dad and I lived with my aunt until my oldest sister Lou found a place for all of us.

But I was riding in the car with my aunt in the car to my Grandfather's ranch. I don't know what it'll be like. I haven't left my room in months.

An hour later we pulled up to a house with a big barn outside I saw so many horses, not gonna lie, it kind hurt my heart. Everything reminds me of mom.

I got out of the car, I saw Amy, Lou and my Grandpa all holding a welcome home sign.

I smiled for the first time in a long while.

My family embraced me with a hug.

Grandpa said" we'll have Ty get your bags. Ty!"

A very cute guy came out from the barn

He said" Yeah Jack?"

Grandpa said" Ty this is Amy and Lou's sister Vanessa."

Ty said" Amy hasn't stopped talking about you. She left out the part about you being gorgeous."

I shook my head.

Lou said" Okay Romeo, now will you please get her bags out of the car?"

Ty said" you're the boss."

Ty smiled at me and winked at me. He then went to the car to grab my bags.

Grandpa said" we don't have much room, you can sleep in the loft that is in barn for a little bit until we get you a room."

I said" that's fine."

A few minutes later I was in the barn with Amy and her friend Mallory. It hurt my heart to look at horses.

Amy said" are you okay?"

I said" still hurting but I'm okay."

Mallory said" well I'm here if you need to talk."

I nodded.

"What's the deal with that Ty guy?"

Amy said" all we know is that he is on probation and he has to work here for the summer."

Then Ty entered the barn.

"You talking about me? Good things I hope."

I said" are you always this flirty?"

"Surprisingly no, are you always this beautiful?"

I rolled my eyes.

Amy said "Vanessa , how long has it been since you rode a horse?"

I said" as long as you've been here."

Ty said" I'll be free to give you free lessons."

I said" are you just offering because you said that I'm gorgeous?"

Ty said" Maybe. I'll still be here in the evening, if you want to go riding then I suggest Spartan. He is a really good horse. See you out there cow girl."

He walked away from us and I was left smiling.

Guys sure do fall fast for girls.

I then saw a beautiful horse it was black.

Amy said" that's spartan."

Spartan neighed at me and I just smiled.

I said" so, you're a horse whisperer like mom was?"

Amy said" pretty much yeah."

We ended up talking in the barn for an hour.

*Later*

I was up in the loft in the barn. I was reading a book. I heard the door open.

It was Ty, he had two cups of hot chocolate.

He said" he is a comfort drink."

I kindly smiled and took the cup out of his hand. He sat right next to me.

I said" you know you're not like how Amy described you."

Ty said" do I wanna know?"

I said" pretty sure you don't."

"So you want to start riding on Spartan?"

I said" sure lets go"

(Okay I have not seen a heartland story for Ty on wattpad so I figured I use my creativity to think of one)
