Classes went normally for the rest of the day. Well they went normally for most of the class. Shinso and Kaminari weren't focusing at all and the entire Bakusquad was worried about Kaminari.

Shinso was trying to take notes but all he could think about was how he did exactly what he was avoiding. He knew Yamada had noticed he was off so he was also making predictions about what would happen when they got home. (Shinso hasn't moved into the dorms yet).

Kaminari was taking notes whenever he could but it always ended up as some gibberish and some scribbles on the side of his paper. He was never the best at taking notes but was especially off that day.

Their last class ended and Bakugo immediately shot over to Shinso, Ashido close behind.

"So Shinso, Denki told me very clearly that he was going to talk to you today and then we see him on the verge of crying. What the hell did you do to him?" Ashido accused, leaning on Shinso's desk. She was ready for a fight and Shinso could tell.

"He was being annoying. So I told him to go sit down. I didn't know he was so sensitive." Shinso lied.

"I blow you up so bad there will-" Bakugo started before he felt someone put a hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay guys! He really didn't do anything!" Kaminari said. It was a blatant lie but Bakugo and Ashido barely bought it, but they trusted him and they trusted that if he had a real problem they would be told.

So they walked away and the classroom was empty except for the teacher, Shinso, and Kaminari. The two boys were standing at the back of the room because Shinso had asked Kaminari to wait for everyone to walk away so they could talk in the hallway.

"What is it?" Kaminari questioned.

"Why'd you lie? They were both about to blast me and you know I deserved it."

"Well because I still intend on befriending you and I can't be friends with a pile of ash and what is the result of acid melting now can I?"

"Don't. Just don't try I'm not worth it. You have plenty of friends now just stick to them."

"O- okay. But last question, where is your soulmate mood stone?" Kaminari said, he still didn't think to check his own because he assumed that if Shinso wasn't wearing his, he must have already found a soulmate.

He thought his assumptions were correct when Shinso walked away, not saying a single word to answer his question.

As he turned away, Shinso could still see the faint glow ok Kaminari's choker. The one thing that could expose them as soulmates.
