Pippie"But everyone else's parents are letting them go!" I complain to my mother as I push my long ginger hair into a ponytail.
"I don't want to hear another word about it!" she answers.
I want to go to Australia with my friends and boyfriend over the summer, but mum won't let me.
"listen" she starts, turning away from the ironing board and putting her small hands on each side of my face in a comforting way.
"I know you want to go to Australia, but I don't have the money right now, and you know how you get with aeroplanes.""Money isn't even a problem! Millie's parents are paying for the whole trip" I complain, completely ignoring the aeroplane comment she made.
"I don't want to hear another word about it" see repeats, returning to her ironing.
"But mum..." I complain one more time, before exiting the room to get ready for the last week of school.
CORY
"I'm so excited to go to Australia, thank you so much for letting me go." I thank my dad for the last time before going to my room to get ready for school.
I can't believe it's the last week of school before the Holidays. 2 of my friends, my girlfriend and I are meeting up to go to Australia for a couple of weeks, and Millie's parents are paying for the whole trip.
After the summer we all start college, But I still have a week of year 11 and a holiday to get through, so I don't want to think about that right now.
I'm sitting in my car a couple of minutes away from school when I spot Pippie walking along in her green T-shirt that shows off her belly. God, she's hot. I pull up at the side of the road.
"Hey babe, Want a ride?"
"Sure" she replies.Pippie climbs into the passenger seat of the car and kisses me passionately. Too soon she pulls away and I groan at the loss of contact from our lips. She gets her set belt on as I restart the car.
"Well, Hello to u too" I exclaim like an idiot. Pippie smiles and looks out the window as we drive the rest of the way in comfortable silence.
As I pull the car into the school parking lot Pippie waves to Millie and Liam through the window. But before getting out of the car I turn to pippie and hand her a gift bag.
"Happy 4th anniversary" I exclaim excitedly.
I turn off the car and we both walk over to our friends holding hands.
"Hey, guys," shouts Millie as we get closer."Hi," says Pippi and for the first time, I can hear the sadness in her voice.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I ask concerned."my mum won't let me go to Australia with you guys."
Millie
"What that's not fair it was your idea to go on the trip in the first place you have to come," I exclaim as I push away from Liam so I can talk directly to her. "I know but try explaining that to her."
"Why don't we all come over to your house after school we can talk about it then," Liam suggests to pippie.
"Ok" pippie agrees as she starts walking towards the cafeteria.
"Meet here after school. And don't be late." She calls over her shoulder. And of cause, Cory follows her to the cafe.
When the two of them are out of sight I turn back to Liam, "can I stay at yours tonight, please, only, if I hear my parents arguing one more time I'm going to lose it" I say as he wraps his arms around my waist.
