Battle in the Soul Society (Cont)

Toshiro stared wide eyed as Captain Byakuya Kuchiki fell to the ground, his face becoming ghostly white. He scowled and faced the Quincies who were smirking like demons. He raised Hyorimaru, it's blade shining as the sun reflected off it's polished metal.

"Bankai, Dyguran Hyorimaru!" he shouted, wings and claws made of ice appeared, giving Toshiro a dragon-like appearance.

The Quincies merely chuckled and pulled their bows out, ready to shoot Toshiro down within seconds. But they froze when someone said, "Bankai, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi."

Pink Sakura petals appeared, slicing their arms and piercing their limbs. The petals attacked them, destroying all of them completely.

"Simpleminded fools," Byakuya said, standing up. But his complexion was still deathly pale, and he staggered as he began approaching the next group of Quincies he was going to eradicate.

"Captain, I don't think that is a well idea," Toshiro said. "You seem ill, and I think Captain Unohana would wish to examine you just in case those arrows are more dangerous than a usual Quincy arrow."

Byakuya frowned. "I need no one's help. I will kill all of them." He resumed walking towards a group of Quincies.

I've never seen Byakuya act so angrily. I am quite sure that arrow he was struck with has something to do with it. I must stop him before it's too late.

~Karakura Town~

Orihime was busy healing Renji, and the others were discussing a plan to deal with these Quincies that were clearly bad news. Ichigo was still thinking about that redheaded Quincy named Blexe. That arrow he struck Ichigo with was no ordinary Quincy arrow, no. These Quincies were clearly going after the Soul Society, or something in the Soul Society.

Rukia supported Ichigo's theory that the Quincies were looking for something, or someone, in the Soul Society. The place is packed with secret information and deadly villains that should never be released again (Renji just wondered if Rukia was only supporting Ichigo because of her major crush).

Uryu sighed. "I bet May had something to do with this. Think about it; May is the descendent of Sosuke Aizen, a man who has studied every person'd Zanpakuto, excluding Ichigo's of course. Renji may have lost only because those Quincies know everything about his Zanpakuto."

Rukia frowned. "No, that's not how Renji lost. I was being foolish and slipped. I would've died if Renji hadn't saved me from those arrows."

Renji remained silent, and Ichigo had a feeling he was just bottling up his ego before it burst out and he was rubbing it in Ichigo's face, but he couldn't care less about Rukia and Renji.

Uryu sighed. "Then I will have to come up with another hypothesis. I know May Kurozaki is somehow related to this whole Quincy attack."

"Why is it always May, Uryu?" Orihime asked. "Just because she's Aizen's daughter doesn't mean she's meaning to overthrow the Soul Society."

Uryu looked away. "Well... I have no other person that had the mind to overthrow the Soul Society. The only person I could think of would be Aizen, but he's locked up in jail."

"But for how long?" Ichigo asked, his eyes beginning to darken.

Renji scowled. "So, what you're saying is that those Quincies are planning to break Aizen out of the most secure prison in the Soul Society?"

"Yeah. Think about it," Ichigo said, clearly mocking Uryu. "Aizen probably has disciples that believed in his ways, even though they're really stupid ways."

Uryu rolled his eyes. "Ichigo, you're an imbecile. Aizen was never acquainted with Quincies. And even if he was, they'd probably kill him."

"Now you're the idiot, Uryu!" Ichigo exclaimed. "Aizen's Zanpakuto manipulates the senses. He could've screwed with those Quincy's heads, and made them part of his "army" that I blew up."

Orihime face palmed. "Oh, Ichigo," she muttered.
