☆☆Sophia ☆ ☆

"Is she waking up?" I hear a voice ask close to my left, "Yes she is... I will go get the doc."

I hear a door open and close, I try to open my eyes only to be blinded by a bright light. "Sophia? Can you hear me?"

"Yeah... can I have some water?" I blink my eyes fast to get used to the light, and watch Connor scurry into the bathroom to fill a little Dixie cup.

He brought it back and handed it to me, "Thanks." I slowly sip the water and watch Connor, as he watches me.  He was about to say something but was cut off by the door opening, "Hello there Miss Sophia Lynn, how are you feeling?" A man walked in he was about my hight, and had black hair and dark green eyes, "I'm fine... where am I? Why am I here?" He sets down a clip board he came in with and sat on the bed next to me,  "You are in the pack hospital room, we have our on hospital but we decided that you should stay here. As for what happend, all I can tell is you had a night terror. Do you know what a night terror is?"  I shook my head no, "ok well night terrors, or sleep terrors, are episode of screaming or intense fighting during your sleep. They can cause you to sleep walk , and they can not cause any harm unless they are keeping you from sleeping." I nod my head, "So I had a nightmare? "

"Not exactly,  a nightmare and a night terror are very different,  after a nightmare you are to scared of going back to sleep. And a night terror happens during your sleep, and followed with a deep sleep after don't worry if you don't remember, no one does." I nod my head again, and handed Connor my now empty Dixie cup. "So can I leave?" I watch him look through my papers, "Actually I would like to get your checkup done now so you don't have to come back in two days, is that ok with you?" I nod my head, "Alpha I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. " The doctor walked to the door and opend it for him, "I'm gonna wait right out there Sophia, ok?" I nod my head and watch him leave, "Ok Sophia we are just gonna do a few quick scans to make sure you and your wolf are doing ok." I nod my head and let the doctor push me into a x-ray room. "Ok. Now Sophia I need you to lay very very still while we do a few tests.

"Ok."

After I was put through a very large number of different scanners the doctor gave me a pack of paper and a pencil, "I will need you to fill this out, it's just a quiz to see what you know." I nod and go through them.

Almost half an hour later I finnished all 160 questions, the doctor took it and handed it to a nurse.  "Well Sophia all your exam ' s came back good, you are very healthy.  But in the last scan we noticed a problem." What? That was the one where they focused on the lower part of our body. Oh my gosh what if  pregnant!? Our mate will never want us! "I'm not pregnant am i?" I say in a low voice, "No you are not pregnant." I sigh with relief,  smile, and jump off the bed, "Will thanks Doc, can I leave now?" I start to walk to the door, but was stoped, "Sophia, you are not pregnant, but there is so much damage done down there that.... well I doubt that you will ever be able to make, or carry a baby, I am sorry." I turn around to face him, "W-what? No.... No! This has to be a mistake, I'm fine, I feel great. Did you just read the test wrong? Did someone els read it wrong? Did I move accidently?  Did-"

By then tears were running down my face, doc pulled me into a hug, and pats my back. "I am so sorry sweetie. If there was any evidence that the test was messed with I would have re done it, but the pictures are crystal clear... if there is anything I could do, I would do it. But for now I will just say I am sorry." I nod my head and sob into his chest. "I need to go inform the alpha." I nod and sit back on the bed, and curled into a ball. Sophia.... I an so so so sorry, this is all my fault if I were to come to you sooner, we could have escaped and this would not have happend. it's not your fault Kira, if anyone is to blame, it's that lame excuse for a man Mitch.

☆☆Connor ☆ ☆

I wait right outside the x-ray room, for some unknown reason her test are taking a lot longer then all the other people I have waited for.

I ended up standing there for a hour and a half. When Fred, the doctor,  came out with a clipboard in hand, and a fake smile on his face. "Hello alpha i-" I hold my hand up for him to stop.

"Cut the bull and just tell me." He sighs and looks down at his clipboard,  "Well she is healthy,  has good, and strong genes, a wonderful brain if I do say so myself."
She will give us strong and healthy pups. I smile at the thought of having kids with her, I can see her now bare foot and pregnant, playing with the pack children and gossiping with the women. "That's great news! When can I see her?" The fake smile fell from his face, "Alpha, I suggest that you tell her that you are her mate." Confused I turn back to him, "Why? Her birthday is in two days, she will know then." He shakes his head, "I know that but.... she- she is in a tough spot now."

"Well what's wrong?"

"Alpha don't get angry but I ran some tes-"

I grab his neck and threw h ok m against the wall, "I asked what was wrong!"

"She can't have kids alpha." I stop my attack on him, "what?" I help him up, and then grabed his clipboard,  "The guy, Mitch... he abused her and really messed her up. She might be able to make a baby, but either she or the baby or both will die before the baby's birth." I handed him the clipboard,  and ran into the room where she was. She was curled up on her side, sobing, her usual pale skin was red, and tear stains printed on her cheeks.

I clime onto the bed, and wrap her in my arms.

"Babe I am so so so sorry. When I find this mutt I will tourcher him for doing this to yiu, to us." She looks up and makes eye contact with me, "Us? Are- are you my m-mate?" She wisper, two more tears ran down her face. "yes sweetie.  And I will promis you now, nothing bad will EVER happen to you again." I wipe her tears away, and stare at her beautiful smile, that's when I notice the dark circles under her eyes. "Go to sleep babe, I will stay with you."I pull her head to my chest, and kiss her forehead, "Connor?"

"Yes Sophia? " She pulls her head back and kisses me on the lips briefly, "I am very happy that you are my mate. " She places her head back on my chest, and falls asleep, "Me to princess... me to." And for the first time in forever,  I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
