The moon had raised up behind the hill of the castle walls. Nighttime had fallen in the kingdom of Argadon, the town fell quiet, and the kingdom was at peace. No harm, no harassment, no nothing just peace and quiet. The animals in the farm was asleep inside the barns and pens. The dark sky was filled with tens of thousands little stars that lite up the entire sky of the kingdom.

Nobody knew how far the sky went, or if it even ended in the kingdom of Argadon education was a very rare thing to have.
The peasants had to work for the right of education.
and the people who worked for the royal family got into the private type of schooling.

It was a two way law in the kingdoms, the high up knights, and their families got almost everything for free, while the farmers and pickers what they called them had to work, by giving 80% of crops and food to the king and queen.

Isabella got lucky to be born into a royal family,  where she had everything right there, a stone castle, a nice bed full of wool that the farmers and pickers had given to them by choice, sure she didn't like the way they were treated but couldn't say anything. The royal family had what most say the luxury life. But when the family got news of the new baby on the way they didn't know what to think.

They decided to name her Isabella. The whole kingdom heard of the news it spreaded quickly, throughout the town folks. Everyone was excited to meet the new child, the first princess of the 15th century. As the seasons grew and winter approached the child was born. The one thing they noticed of the child was its eyes. Glowing a dark shade of red, with a hint of orange. Almost like a fire state, with a Smokey feel to them.

"This is the work of witchcraft"
The queen declared everyone in the town to be brought to the town square to be looked over, for any signs of wizardry. They made a sob story about how the child didn't make it through the night,   after all, it was believable.

The kingdom knew the lack of knowledge of the doctors, and clinics in the town. Most of them didn't or couldn't find a cure to certain problems. They lacked the knowledge, and materials to find the cure to problems. So it was believable, most children didn't get pass the ages of 5 without major health problems.

Meanwhile; Isabella grew up locked away in her room which was significantly at the tallest point of the stone walled, small castle. Castles weren't always made of stone in Argadon, some were wood, or metal if there were miners in the town. Other rivalry kingdoms such has Malden was a much bigger castle with three floors including a basement in the castle. Argadon wasn't as lucky to have this, so the tallest point was only at the second floor up the stairs in the attic.

The princess spent her days watching the village-folks farm, or tend to their families and farms or tried sell their wool for the sheep. She wondered what life outside of her room was like. Sure, she wasn't in the kingdoms wars, and didn't have to worry about being killed in the wars, but she wanted freedom.

Meanwhile; in the town-square everyone was lined up to be "tested" to see if they were a witch, or partake in magick of any sort. Isabella saw everything in the tower she was kept away in. She had always wondered what it was like to be away from the castle and have freedom. She knew why she was locked up, or part of the reason why..

F L A S H B A C K

"WITCHERY!! Isabella, you are a curse to the family! A-A monster! You are NOT our child. You are a witch. We cannot have our family name be ruined by your disgusting, horrendous red eyes. "
Followed by a loud slam of the metal door that was locked from the outside of it so Isabella couldn't escape. She knew her eyes were the problem, nobody she had come across in her family had glowing red eyes. She didn't believe it was a curse, or anything her mother told her. The words didn't hurt her. She heard them growing up, when they'd give her food, and water they'd always exclaim how she was a curse, or a witch of the family. She had gotten use to it.

There was one singular mirror in her so called "room" one bed, and one table. She had thought about jumping out the window and running away to the near-by forest, but the tower was too high and she'd end up dying or getting severely hurt. Anyways, Argadon was known for their security and knights, the one kingdom that had severe security. They didn't like passerby's, and anyone who wasn't in the kingdom or lived there didn't belong in the kingdom.

It was rules. One night the king and queen, Isabella's parents threw a feast, the whole kingdom was invited they didn't have fireworks at the time invented in the kingdom so they used camp fires, for the light that lite up the darky starry sky.

The music playing from the jesters, and the town folks flooded the stone castle halls with laughter, and music. The smell of food surrounded the halls the princess Isabella couldn't join them due to the town-folks thinking she was dead. Which again, was highly believable. The town was separated by a few groups, yes the main second high up group were the knight's and their families.

Second group was the lowest class and was the Farmers, peasants, serfs all had similar rights in the kingdom of Argadon. Although the only difference was, serfs had zero rights and was the lowest class of the kingdom. Farmers and Peasants what they were called in the kingdom had some rights, they could have some land to farm, and some rights. And slaves who were bought by the royalty and knights families.

The second highest class was the clergy, who were the religious people in the kingdom. They did stuff like keep the witches and such away from the kingdom. The last group there was, was the witches. They hid away in deep forests so they wouldn't be seen, and they barely came out from hiding unless of importance. People saw the witches as evil and mischievous. But that wasn't it at all, they helped people, they had disguise themselves as villagers by using their magick so they could help others in need. But the kingdom had seen them as evil.

    BANG
The music had stopped, and everyone went quiet and looked around, Isabella sat at the window and noticed in the distance a big heard of.. what seemed to be horses but every night at a specific time, it was said witches came out to get revenge but that was a silly rumor.. right?
