Kylie's POV

As I was leaving the store Shawn stopped me, yelling and running across the parking lot he says, "Wait! Kylie I need to talk to you!"

Could he have felt something too? No Kylie that's crazy.

As I waited for him to jog over to me I say, "Hey Shawn, whatcha need?" He replies with the usual "um nothing." "I thought you needed to talk to me though...?" I said. "Oh yeah... About that." He said while scratching the back of his neck, "I was wondering if I could get your number maybe?" He asked nervously. "Oh sure! No problem." I say laughing lightly.

We exchange numbers and then head our separate ways.

When I got home, mom was already asleep in her room. I put away the things I just bought and headed up to bed myself. I hopped in the shower and quickly finished. As I was laying in bed about to fall asleep my phone went off.

Shawn:

Hey Kylie, its Shawn..

Me:

Hey Shawn! How's it going? Ya kniw that while 20 minutes since I've seen you(;

Shawn:

Oh ya know, the usual. I'm sure things must be different from the last time I saw you am I right? (;

Me:

Oh yeah, most definitely. Hey, actually I was heading to bed so I'll text you in the morning okay?

Shawn:

Oh yeah, of course. Alright talk to you tomorrow. Wanna meet up for coffee or something in the morning?

Me:

Sure sounds great! Text me then. Goodnight!

Shawn:

Alright great! Night!

First time I've talked to him and he already wants to go for coffee, whoa this guy must be something. I head to bed, considering I actually have to wake up in the morning hours to get coffee.

Next day

I wake up to my phone going off, another text from Shawn.

Shawn: meet me at Starbucks in 30 minutes?

Me: sounds great, see ya!

I lock my phone and get in the shower. When I get out I slip on a pair of darkish skinny jeans, combat boots, and my favorite crop top sweater. I throw my hair up into a messy bun and put on some light makeup before grabbing my purse, phone, and keys and heading out the door. I left on note on the table for my mom so she wouldn't be worried.

When I arrived at Starbucks shawn had already gotten us a table. I walked over, unsure of what to expect.
