CHAPTER 1 : TRAINEE

Y/N'S POV

I woke up in the morning with the greatest mood ever. I wanted to tell my mom about it, but I don't know how. Sometimes she's a bit protective of me and I don't know if she will allow me to be a kpop idol.

"Y/n! The breakfast is ready!" My mom shouted from downstairs and it startled me.

"Coming!" I replied.

I went downstairs and found 3 plates of bacon and eggs. Such a heaven. Those plates are for me, my mother, and my younger sister who hasn't woken up. My father works for the military so right now he is serving and couldn't be home since last month.

I decided to tell the news to my mom while we were eating, "Mom, I got something to tell you," I started.

"What is it, Y/n?"

"Mmm... you remember that I told you I still haven't figured out what I'm gonna do, right?"

"Yeah of course."

"Now I finally know."

"Really? What is it?" Her eyes lightened up in curiosity.

"I'm gonna be a kpop idol." She was shocked as soon as I said that. "The thing is-"

"Why do you want it?"

"Because I really love singing and producing music, and also I want to entertain other people and share my music with the world. Is it wrong?"

"No, son. I'm actually glad that you've figured it out. I just didn't expect that you want to be an idol."

"Actually I was already accepted as a trainee in JYP Entertainment, so I will train in the company to prepare for my debut later as an idol, and if you don't know JYPE is now one of the top 3 biggest entertainment agencies in this country."

"Since when did you get accepted?!"

"Yesterday.." after I said it, she started to cry.

"Mom? Why are you crying?"

"I'm just worried that you'll have a hard time for being a kpop idol."

"Mom.. don't worry. This is what I want, and I'll make sure to work hard to achieve my dream. I can do it so you don't have to worry, okay?" I smiled trying to reassure her.

"I never thought my son has grown up." she said while smiling at me.

"So you'll let me be an idol, right?"

"Yes, son. As long as you're happy with what you're doing, I will always support you."

"Thank you, mom." I hugged her and honestly I teared a little bit, knowing that my mother really loves me.

After I told my mom, it's time to tell my girl. I dialed up her number and waited for her to pick it up.

"Hello?" she finally picked up.

"Hi, jagi~ what are you doing now?" I said.

"I just finished taking a shower and I'm gonna have some breakfast now. And by the way, Y/n."

"Hmm?"

"I'm sorry for yesterday, I couldn't go with you because my mother. I promise I will make it next time. Forgive me, please?"

"Of course I forgive you Soyeon-ah. It's okay, your mother needed your help anyway."

"Hehe thanks jagi~"

"So.. I called you because I want to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"I got accepted as a trainee in JYP!!"
