It was snowing outside, the roads started to whiten slowly. Michael looked briefly through the window and felt such an amazement, snow had always made him feel peaceful, for some reason snow provides a deep feeling of warmth for him, a warmth that made him remember childhood every time he felt.
"Enough make up already Ashe, we gonna be late" Mike snapped in a patientless voice.
Ashely barely looked at him she was too busy holding her long soft hair behind her ears, pressing her sweet red lips so tight together, opening her eyes widely in order to focus on her make up. He thought that even a surgeon won't need that much concentration in the operation room yet he said nothing, women will be women after all, he just kept watching his short sister standing on her toes to reach the mirror doing her makeup.
"Nice new dress little sis, it fits you perfectly!" Mike added softly.
Even though Mike knows nothing about fashion he was right, that black dress matches her white skin perfectly, and made her extremely gorgeous.
"It's nice of you to notice 'big brother', I just finished it last month, it took me two months to just made the design." Ashe replied thankfully.
"Why don't you start your own cloths designing business, it's time to stop selling your creativity to some stupid fashion house, you're the most talented..."
"Let's not talk about work on Christmas holidays Mike!" She interrupted politely "It's nice of Pitter to want to reunite us after all this years apart."
"Well..." Mike stopped for a while thinking about how much he had missed his friends. "It's awkward how we hadn't reunited anytime sooner we were inseparable when we were kids but now we only meet on social media, such a shame. Remember when we used to sleepover at any house we wanted like if the five of us were brothers and sisters?"
Her face expressed a smile full of nostalgia that Mike took as an answer.
After convincing her to quit the makeup and go to the car, he carried the suitcases, put them in the trunk and joined her in the car. She was thinking about how much her brother had grown up; he was a mid-sized man, his skin was less brown than it used to be but his brown eyes and short long hair seemed to be the same since childhood.
"You forget the fridge!" Mike said hardly, trying to catch some breath because of his sister's heavy suitcase.
"What...?" She was absolutely clueless.
"You forget to bring the fridge." Still breathing heavily.
"Why would I bring the damn fridge?" She asked in a sense of lost.
"I dunno, the suitcase was so heavy I thought you were moving out."
His sarcasm took her by surprise but she made no reaction.
"Here we go with the jokes again, HAHA so funny Mike." But her smile exposed her, she kind of liked the joke, after all she also has no idea why girls bring lot of stuff wherever they travel.
"We're picking up Jessy from the train station!" He informed
"Jess?! Oh GOD how I missed her!" Ashely yelled with a ten-year old girl sound.
"Jess...!" Mike said laughing, he remembered that time when they were coming back from school and they were ahead of Jess while they heard her screaming, they run for her only to find a chicken running after her, they all started laughing except Jess who kept screaming until they reached home.
