The Nightmare (a BVB fanfiction)

Chapter 1

I sat in bed thinking. Not knowing what to do anymore when suddenly I heard someone yelling my name. "EMBER GET DOWN HERE NOW" it was my mom. She's probably gonna complain that I never do anything like what she always does. But I was wrong. "Ember...there's something I need to tell you...." At that point I was worried. "Yeah? What is it?" My mom looked like she was about to cry. "Your father passed away in a car accident." I couldn't move, it was like my whole body just stopped. After a few minutes it hit me with what happened, I couldn't even talk anymore I just ran to my room and I started crying. I never cry but I just can't hold all this in.

~One hour later~

My makeup was running down my face and I just looked like shit. I needed some air so I grabbed my keys and ran outside and started driving. I wasn't sure where I was going I just can't go back home, I'm broken. I recognized where I was and I drove to a house I spent a lot of time at. My best friend Jakes house. He was home so I knocked on the door still crying. The door opened right away and Jake noticed I was crying and he pulled me into a tight hug. "Ember are you okay? What happened?" Before I could say anything he picked me up and brought me inside and carefully set me down on the couch with him right beside me. He knew about my past and he seemed worried. He just stared at me waiting for me to talk so I told him everything. He knew my dad meant the world to me so he pulled me onto his chest and just let me cry until I couldn't cry anymore. I would have gone back home but my mom is very violent that's why my dad left her. She would always beat me up and call me names but I still had to stay with her because my dad was always doing drugs and landing himself in the hospital and he travels all the time so I never get to see him. Even though I'm 19 I can't move out cuz I have no money and my mom won't help me one bit so I'm stuck here with her. I just want to leave this hell. Almost every night my mom has a different guy come over and they end up doing god knows what. I'm living my nightmare.
