I was currently on my way to the airport. Why you may ask. Well, thats for me to know and you to find out. The cab neared the curb-side drop off and soon found my airline. I opened the door and grabbed my bags. Yes bags as in mulitple. Im going to the secret destination for a while. Its a good thing my mic is USB and my laptop is amazing. I quickly check in my bags and make my way to security. Good god, why is Orlando security so long. After waiting for about 10 minutes I show my forms of idea and passport. (( I have never been out of the states nor do i have a passport so im sorry if this is wrong )) I take off my shoes and everything metal and put it, along with my carry on, in the bins and onto the conveyor belt scanner thingy. I go through the machine and grab my stuff. After putting my shoes back on I head towards the tram. (( Yes we have a tram to take us to the other side of the airport )) I quickly get on before the doors shut. In a matter of 3 minutes were in the other part of the airport. I pull out my camera and start to vlog. "Hey everybody! Its Ash and as you can probably see, I'm in the airport! No I'm not saying where im going because its a surprise! Those are always fun! Now dont you skip to the end to see where I go because thats cheating and nobody likes cheaters. Well im about at my gate so I'll see you when I land. Bye for now!" I end and turn off my camera. I sit in a chair infront of the gate and wait.
-20 minutes later...-
They finally call my plane and I stand up. I quickly gather my belongings and head over to the line. I show the lady my ticket and passport and go down the hallway thing. I find my seat and sit. I pull out my laptop/tablet thingy ((you know those cool things that are a tablet and a laptop yeah that )) and my headphones. I pull up Twitch and watch Tom play Mianite. Sense I cant stream today why not watch. Nobody seems to notice that im there which is a good thing. At this point the plane is in the air and on its way to the destination. I dont say anything until my friends start chatting about me. "I wish Ash was here. We need to get up to some mischief" Tom says. Weird. So, of course, I talk in chat and say "Oh but I am here Thomas". The chat explodes and Tom, doesnt see it. Its a good thing I have minecraft on my laptop. So I log in and say the same thing over. His response is "Wait how did you know that" I contemplate telling him. I finally respond by saying "Your stream isnt private Tom." He laughs. This kind of banter goes on for a while until Miante ends and everyone stops streaming. Tom had streamed for about 4 hours total resulting in about 10 hours flight time letf. I internally groaned and catch up on some missed youtube episodes. With about 6 hours left. I fall asleep.
-5 hours later-
I woke up with a jolt. The plane was experincing turbulence. The one thing I hate. I check the time to see we have about 30 minutes until we land. Mind as well edit some videos. The turbulence cleared within 10 minutes and my was I thankful for that. I managed to finish editing half of a video when the pilot came on announcing we were about to land.
-After the plane lands and now shes in the airport-
"Hey guys! I just got off the plane and am now heading to catch a cab. Yay! Cabs. Ugh save me. So this is just a quick catch-up vlog to let you know I made it here safely! So I guess I'll see you when I get to my friend's house. Wait he doesnt know Im here yet as well, this will be funny as hell." I end the video and catch a cab. I tell the driver where to. After an hour drive, we finally make it. I grab my bags and pay the driver. He shortly speeds off. I get my phone out and check who's streaming. "Perfect" I think, "they're streaming." I quickly start recording, "Hey guys, once more im back and im outside the house. He is currently streaming so this'll be extra fun" I say while walking up to the door. I knock as hard as I can to make the most noise so he hears me. His screaming which could be heard clearly before quiets and I knock again. At this point, he knows someone is here. I knock once more while looking into my camera trying not to laugh. I hear footsteps and soon the door handle moves. "SURPRISE!" I shout at Tom. "Ash!? What the hell are you doing here?!" He shouts back at me. "Well, I thought since Eurogamer is in 2 weeks I would come and visit for longer!" I explain to Tom and my audience. "Thats fantastic! Come in! Come in! Oh and give me a hug as well." He says grabbing one of my bags and opening the door wider. As soon Im inside, I give him a big bear hug. I turn to my camera and start talking, "So this is where I am! Surprise everyone! So expect some awesome collabs between us! Byyyyeee" I turn off my recording and Im greeted to another bear hug. "Its so great to see you again in person" He whispers into my hair, still hugging me. This is the perfect moment.
