𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐓 in her office as was scrolling through Instagram as training had ended and all of the guys had left,

But she had a meeting on the grounds in a bit so she decided to stay and not come back later:

Whilst she was looking at photos she got a notification that an old friend tagged her in a post,

@𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗷𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀: 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝟭𝟰 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲, 𝗜 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆!

The reason why Amelia stopped playing rugby was that she had multiple bad concussions in a short period of time,

Since she wasn't able to play rugby she moved into physiotherapist,

Was meant to be in rugby but she wasn't going to tell the people at the club when they hired her that.

"What is this?" Amelia cocked her head as she looked through the different photos,

It was the last photo of her leading her team out,

"No no no," the physio let out a groan as she could feel her body going weak,

"This can't happen right now," she added as she sniffed,

"Please pick up," the brunette mumbled as she dialled her mother's number,

𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟 also suffered from anxiety so it was the first person that the girl would call when she needed help calming down,

"Mum, I saw a picture and I don't know what to do." She cried as she started trying to control her breathing,

"Amelia you-" Robert had heard the girl as her office door was open and it immediately concerned him,

"Hey look at me," he added seeing the girl in her distressed state,

"Robbie," the physio looked at him as she started crying,

This was the first time she ever had a panic attack at work.

"Don't umm, tell me about your least favourite times we have come in for a check-up." The striker quickly came up with the idea trying to get the girl to think about something random,

"Just do it," he added as he sat the girl down on the table,

"The month I arrived you came down for a concussion check and I was so scared that I would do it wrong. And you wouldn't even look at me!" He could see the sides of her lips turn inwards so he knew that he had to give her another one,

His plan was working.

"What else," the footballer added as he waited for another memory to be shared,

"Joshua dislocating his shoulder when we were in Barcelona and you all making me do it quietly do the gaffer wouldn't know what I had done." Amelia still remembered the night like it was yesterday,

About five of the boys had come to her room at midnight needing help after one of their stupid ideas turned bad,

"Now just breathe," the Polish boy grabbed the girls hands hoping that she would look in his eyes and just focus on something because he didn't have any ideas on what to do next.

They were both sat in the office as Robert got lost in his thoughts.

"What was that thing," Robert asked curiously as he rubbed his eyes,

"Pardon?" Amelia cocked her head as she assumed that they were going to be sitting in silence for a bit.

"That thing you were having when I came in what was it?" The footballer cocked his head as he looked at the girl,

In all honesty, it scared him but he wasn't going to tell her that.

"It was a panic attack," the physio explained with a soft smile on her face,

"Oh, do you know what sets them off?" The Polish boy didn't have a clue what to say,

But he figured that it may be smart to know what makes them happen for her.

"It really depends, sometimes it's just any day things with no real connection." The Kiwi explained as she tied her hair into a high pony just to get it out of her face,

"That sounds scary," Robert mumbled not knowing how the girl put up with them,

"It is, but I usually have my mum on the phone to help me out," Amelia wasn't going to lie,

Each time she had one it felt like her body was giving out from under her.

"Speaking of which that is most probably her." She added as she heard her phone ring,

"Hey mum," the physio spoke in a soft tone almost trying to calm her mum down,

"Love are you alright, I'm so sorry I wasn't able to pick up." Sally apologised the moment she heard the line go active.

"It's fine, I had someone here who was able to help me out," the Kiwi was able to quickly cut in before the older women flipped.

"The cute striker?" The older women asked as she smirked,

"I'm not answering that," Amelia shook her head,

"But I love you," she added realising that she should hang up and ask Robert what he was still doing there.

"I love you too." Her mum was just relieved to see that her daughter wasn't hurt,

"Sorry about that," Amelia looked up as the line went dead,

"No don't be, it's sweet that you have such a good relationship with your mum." Robert shook his head as he smiled,

"It took a lot of work, to be honest," the physio mumbled as she knew that it wasn't easy.

"What do you mean?" The footballer cocked his head,

"It's just that I went to boarding school from the age of eight to the time I graduated and then studied in a different country to the too." The Kiwi explained causing the boy to nod,

"So our relationship was always strained in some way." She added as things finally made sense as to why she was so independent.
