Taehyung froze when the sentence left Hoseok's mouth.

" Like as in a date?" Taehyung asked just to clarify.

Hoseok nodded as he bit his lip, nervous about what Taehyung is going to answer.

Silence fell upon them.

Taehyung wasn't sure of what he should answer. He knew he still has feelings for Jungkook even if he told himself he will move on. Some would say this was a perfect opportunity for Taehyung to move on, but Taehyung didn't want to say ' yes' and play with Hoseok's feelings. He would feel guilty and he didn't want to do that to a close friend. Taehyung knew that Hoseok would get hurt in the end if he says ' yes' or ' no.'

Taehyung gulped nervously as he finally made a decision after thinking it through. " Hoseok." Taehyung broke the silences between them. " I only see you as a friend," Taehyung said with guilt.

Hoseok just stood there as he felt his heart cracked. " But what about the kiss?" Hoseok asked.

Taehyung let out a sad smile as he felt even more guilty for leading on Hoseok's feelings. " I was heartbroken at that time, I'm still heartbroken," Taehyung explained.

Hoseok let go a sigh as he looked down at the floor. Hoseok felt sadden took over his body when he realized he got rejected by Taehyung. Hoseok looked back up at Taehyung as he let out a sad smile.

" It's ok, I understand," Hoseok said as smiled at Taehyung.

" I'm sorry, Hobi." Taehyung apologizes as he felt tears in his eyes. " I don't want to hurt you worst if I say yes."

Hoseok let out a chuckle as he brought his hand on Taehyung face, wiping the tear that escaped from Taehyung's eyes. " Hey don't cry, it's ok," Hoseok said.

Little sobs started to escape from his mouth. " I don't want to lose you as a friend," Taehyung said through his sobs.

Hoseok just looked at Taehyung, continuing to wipe his tears away. " You're not losing, I'm still your friend," Hoseok said as he tried to calm down Taehyung.

Taehyung stared at Hoseok with his watery eyes for a while, until he jumped on Hoseok and hugged him. Hoseok flinched a little at Taehyung's sudden action.

Hoseok let out a smile when he realized Taehyung is hugging him. Hoseok wrapped his arms around Taehyung's waist as Taehyung shoved his face into Hoseok's neck.

One of  Hoseok's hands left Taehyung's waist and started patting his back. " Don't worry Tae, we are still going to be friends," Hoseok said to Taehyung.

Taehyung pulled away from Hoseok. " You really are the greatest friend I could as for," Taehyung said as he gave Hoseok a smile, with dry tear stains on his cheeks.

Hoseok chuckled. " Jimin won't be happy to hear that." Hoseok joked as he tried to lighten up the mood.

Taehyung gasped at Hoseok sentence. " Don't tell him I say that, he would get upset and be sassy to me again," Taehyung said as he pouted.

Hoseok let out more chuckles. " Ok, I won't tell him about it," Hoseok said. " Come on, the others would get suspicious of why we are taking too long."
