at lunch you saw kate talking to some kid, probably a freshman "hey luke." she said.
since y/n wasn't nosey she didn't listen to their conversation but kate came and sat with you and leslie.
as you finally settled yelling was heard, it was emaline and oliver.
as they both finished emaline made direct eye contact with y/n. she broke it by looking down, hiding her hat she was totally blushing, but by the time she looked back up they were making out.
"do you think his tongue is slimy?" leslie asked. you cleared your throat. "i'm going to the bathroom." you said softly before leaving.

y/n started walking home with your bike. she thinks kate was going to that freshman's house, she wasn't completely sure.
"i'm home!" she yelled as she walked in. her mom was at the table, looking through things "what're you doing?" she asked softly, putting down her bag. "nothing... so how was your day?" her mother asked, y/n cringed, remembering the horrendous day. "i've had better ones." y/n slightly laughed.
later her dad walked in. she sighed,
he was probably in another one of his moods, maybe a bad day? y/n thought. she groaned, heading for her room. "not hungry?" y/n's mother asked "not really." y/n replied before closing her room door.
abruptly y/n's phone starts ringing "hello?"
"y/n, it's me, kate."
"oh hey kate! what's up?" y/n asked, interested.
"well... i was looking at a magazine, you know. of girls, then my dad walked in!"kate yelped. y/n started uncontrollably laughing
"lemme guess? he's still clueless?" y/n asked
"yup!"
after talking for awhile they hung up and y/n when to sleep.
