Shinso sat on a table just about the window of the restaurant they're in as Aizawa walked towards the other side to order some food. It's not like him to get some decent food, but for now he thought he should-for the kid. He walked back to Shinso then sat opposite him with one leg on top of another.

He noticed Shinso staring at the ground or through the window everytime he's around, "You don't seem very comfortable aren't you?" The bot shook his head, "I-I am." Aizawa nodded. "Or would you rather take the food somewhere else? I'm not really used to eating with so much people watching," he asked. Shinso nodded. "It's just an offer," he stated, "If you'd rather stay here I really wouldn't mind."

The boy looked at Aizawa's dark eyes, "No, I really think so." Aizawa smirked and with their food packed, off they go.

Aizawa hand Shinso his food as the other pack hung on his wrist in a plastic bag. The boy took it from the hero's hand then stared at it as they keep walking. "What should I call you?" the hero asked as they walk through the busy street. "Hitoshi-" the boy muttered, "-Shinso, anything you want." Aizawa smirked, "I'll go with Hitoshi then." Shinso gasped as he stared at the hero who paid all his attention to the streets. Only his parents-and Kato called him Hitoshi. "S-sure," he replied.

"I notice you're in middle school," Aizawa walk slower, Shinso liken as he nod. "So, I suppose it's only right for me to talk to your parents before you spend more time with me." Shinso startled, he stop walking, "I-I don't think that's necessary."

"It's my responsibility, they deserve to know," he explained, "I don't want them to worry if you're home late." Shinso walked towards the hero as he thought of a scenario where he'll agree to him without ending up explaining his pathetic life. "Ok," is all he said.

"I-I don't think they're home yet, they're very busy," he stated, staring at the ground, hoping Aizawa would agree to turn around. "We wouldn't know for sure unless we try," the hero replied causing Shinso to sigh, "even if they're not there you can tell them we tried." Shinso nodded, at least he knew no one would be home, there's no need for anymore scenarios.

As they reached Shinso's apartment, the boy grabbed a key from his pocket and tucked it to a hole in the doorknob. Later, they walked in. "They sure aren't here," Aizawa smirked, "I shouldn't have doubted you." At this point, Shinso felt bad for lying, parts of him thought he shouldn't have.

They decided to stay there for a while. Despite, they have been walking for a while, a rest wont hurt. Aizawa sat on a couch, gazing around as he took a sip of tea Shinso made earlier.

'It doesn't seem like anyone else lived here,' he thought. Shinso sat opposite him, staring at the window behind the man showing the light blue sky. "So when will your parents be home?" he cracked the silence. The boy broke out of his reverie, "U-um, pardon?"

"I asked when will your parents be home?" he repeated, smirking.

"Home?" Shinso replied, "I-I don't know."

Just as Aizawa was about to reply to Shinso's suspicious answer, a sudden knock was heard. Both of them stared at the door.

"Hitoshi," a person called, hitting another knock. Shinso sighed. He knew exactly who that is. His mother, his long gone mother.

Out of all times, why now?
