Good evening dear Wave riders,

I was surfing the satellites earlier today, seems that our kind is becoming as extinct as the dinosaurs. Also it seems my biological parents are even more agitated than usual. Goodness knows that arguing is a familiar concept in human nature. I seem to be such an outcast in society that I miss some of the scandals that occur in my own school. My dreams have been troubling me lately, a certain male has been haunting them for some time now and it is killing me. I've been trying to be a fearless leader of the Wave but now it seems my sense are tarnished.

On a less narcissistic note, a few months ago during one of my classes my teacher said that we can't begin a text on a question because that means we are assuming that our readers care about the answer of our question. I of course thought about it for longer than the typical human being. My depression has caused me to overthink practically everything, I get the knit picking thing from my mother. I came to the realisation that maybe life itself is the question. Maybe we are all constantly asking ourselves, is my life worth living? We'll be back after the break with Alfred and his opinion on young children living in their own houses.

This is Sally signing out.

I rolled out of my bed and hissed as I entered the well-lit hallway in my mother's house. Correction, my Step-father's house that I am so very privileged to live in, or so my mother is trying to drill into my head. My brother met me by the entrance to the dining room. "Ready?" he asked me with a cheeky grin on his face. Christopher is a well behaved Ivey league scholar who is studying law. My mother is extremely proud of him and his accomplishments so much so that she has a file in her precious office that was full of his certificates. Her latest addictions were his wedding pictures. Christopher and Charisa got married last week and now we are having a dinner in the main hall to celebrate their one week anniversary. If we keep up with this pattern I'm going to lose my mind.
I walked into the room behind my brother. Instantly Charisa left the table and greeted her husband standing by his side proudly. I just rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone. My twitter was blowing up with comments on my latest broadcast. Before I could begin the task of responding to each and every one of them my mother interupted me. "Patricia, I see you didn't find the appropriate evening attire I laid out for you" she rudely stated. "I saw it" I said lazily as I walked to the table and began to eat. Before she could force me to go change, my brother decided to begin talking about his honeymoon while his wife nodded like a bobble head. I quickly ate whatever was on my plate and walked away ignoring my mother screaming that I hadn't asked to be excused.
I walked back to my room and changed into my black jeans and a plain striped tank top. I grabbed my phone and put on my doc martens before yelling up to one of many staff members that I was going out. "Very well Miss Ricki, where should I say that your going?" Harold responded. "Tea party" I said with a smirk on my face. "Very well" he chuckled in response.
I exited the mansion to see Thomas already waiting for me at the end of the driveway. "Perfect timing big brother" I thought as I ran and jumped into his truck. "Where to Lil'Ricki" he said cheekily. "Abbey's having a party, thought we could hit it up for a while before we crash at dad's" I responded happily. "Sounds good to me, how was the She-devil?" he asked as he pulled away from the hell I live in 1/4 of the time. Luckily my dad had 75% custody of my brother and I. Christopher is my step father Russel's kid. "She really loved my septum piercing" I laughed. "I bet" he responded as he pulled up to Abbey's house.
We opened the door to see a bunch of random high school kids from various areas grinding against eachother and drinking beer. Abbey came up to me and whispered "Time to filter out the losers, the whole band is here, they're just waiting for you." I smiled and nodded to her and waved at my brother. I walked out onto the back deck where my whole band was already set up and ready to blow the roof off of this party. "Ready boys and girls" I yelled into the microphone. A few confused yells came from the crowd of people. "We are Death Wave and prepare to have your ears torn out." A few people started to leave but some started to look excited. Kyle our rythme guitarist began the first few keys of our first song and before I knew it I had begun to sing.

What do you think of when you hear my name?

Does it drive you crazy?

Does it mess with your brain?

How do you handle your mess of a life?

You should know that your words stab me like a knife.....

We continued our set for another hour and I left the stage with a crowd full of happy fans behind me. This is what I live for.
I met Thomas and Abbey by the door. "You could have told me why we were here Ricki" Thomas said. "Let loose Tommy, they were radical" Abbey slurred as she put her arm around my shoulder. Dylan, our drummer came around the corner and kissed me on the cheek. "Mind blowing Sugar" he said as he grabbed Abbey and led her to the dance floor. "See ya Ricki" they yelled in unison. Kyle and David, our guitarists followed them and patted me on the shoulder and strode off to find a random girl to grind against. "Guess we're out of here" I said to Thomas. He opened the door for me and we walked to his truck.
Soon after we reached my dad's house. My true home. When I got in the door my dad was sitting in the kitchen drinking a beer and doing paper work. "How was the gig?" he asked. "So she tells you but not me!" I hear Thomas yell from over my shoulder. I laughed and told my dad all about the rush of singing in front of so many people. I then proceeded to go down to my room and pass out on my bed.
