(Part 2) A Nightmare Together

Cross's P.O.V: I was sitting with Epic, caught up in my own thoughts. It's been over a week since me and Epic started dating. Yesterday I went to talk to Dream to find out how to get Nightmare's goop back. I learned that he would need a negative apple, I was about to go and tell Epic and Nightmare when I remembered... Once Nightmare goes back to normal he will know about mine and Epic's relationship and would either use it against me, or ban me from seeing him! So I kept it secret, but I knew that they would figure it out eventually. "You alright Crossy?" I heard Epic say, I nodded and cuddled closer to Epic, "You sure? You seem a bit off..." he trailed off, "I-Well..." I stuttered, not able to think of what to say. I felt him rub my back to calm me down, "Once Nightmare goes back to normal... I'm afraid that we might not be able to see each other again..." I trailed off, Epic looked at me with the 'What do you mean?' Look. I sighed, "Nightmare is the Guardian of Negativity. He is weakened by Positivity, and when he was in his corrupted form he hated all Positive emotions." I spoke in an almost emotionless manner. I could tell Epic was thinking, as I buried my head into his ribcage. After a few minutes of him thinking, "Well, I won't let him take you away from me! Just out of curiosity though... did you find a way to get his corruption back?" He asked, I nodded, "We should tell him." Epic said, I stayed silent for a few moments, "First I should tell you something..." I said, Epic looked down at me curiously, "...I'MPARTOFAGROUPOFKILLERS!" I said, speaking a mile a minute, I clung to Epic as if he would disappear if I let go. I could tell Epic was trying to figure out what to say about it, "The gangs run by Nightmare. I joined long before I met you, back then I didn't see a point in living so I didn't care, but you... You gave me a reason to keep going. I never told you because I was afraid of losing you." I explained, he seemed to understand and nodded, "So I currently have 2 murderers in my home, one of them being my boyfriend?" He joked, "yup!" I chuckled. I snuggled closer to Epic, while loosening my grip, "We should tell Nightmare we found a lead." Epic said, "Yea, but later I'm tired." I said, Epic chuckled and agreed, we would tell Nightmare tomorrow.
