Levi Ackerman woke up. His body gave a great jolt, and in a second he was sitting upright, heart pounding against his ribcage. He was wide awake despite just being asleep a few seconds ago. He had many nightmares. Sometimes it would feel like all the people he killed came back to him when he was asleep to haunt him till the day he died. Levi dreamt about the battle of Wall Maria. He dreamt of losing his squad and he dreamt of dying over and over again. He hated his nightmares but perhaps it was the weight of all his deeds reminding him of what he was.
No...he wasn't a bad person. But he wasn't the most moral person either. But life was never kind to him.
However, this dream was much different and it was why it scared him so much. He couldn't remember specific details from the start but it started out normally. It was as if he was awake with his whole squad and everything was alright till he noticed Eren was missing. Then he felt someone violently pull at his mind, till he realized he was being dragged away from the scene and he barely had time to react. He couldn't scream because he felt something was suffocating him. He couldn't see a thing in vast pitch darkness and realized that no one was suffocating him, it was all inside. Because he was alone inside of-

Then emerald eyes stuck out of the darkness like glowering gems. He felt drawn to it but terrified at the same time. They glowed tantalizingly as if daring him to step closer. Levi did not move an inch. He thought he heard his name being called. He snapped away from the Emeralds and instantly felt the suffocating sensation return, except worse. He suddenly felt immobilized, something was holding him down. He couldn't see anything. He wanted to scream but who would hear him when there was nothing?
