Finding A Way Into Her Heart Pt-01

He wakes up by hearing a knock on his door, still not recovered from his hangover. A friend of his father, Ram yelling "the strike has been started. We need your assistance".

That day no one expected this to happen.

Since he doesn't go to work, his father used him for running errands. He puts on a shirt and closes his door to reach his dad's office. He leads the crowd fighting for a higher income for taxi drivers.

And his father, once a successful taxi driver, now owns several taxis and a leader of the union of taxi drivers for his district, which runs under ride-booking apps that often give them low cuts. So taxi services for the whole district were halted after 5:00 without any notice.

All the government busses were full of people stamping each other's shoes. The day was out, and the protest was withdrawn. He returned home and slept the whole day. After he wakes up, he realizes that there wasn't a cab to pick her up.

Teju, his neighbor whom he never met or did care more, but his father allotted a ride that would take her to the hospital, where she works as Human Resource Manager. Then received a call from Ram to know that she was harassed and raped by a gang of unknown criminals.

He reached the hospital she was admitted to. He hid in a blind spot; her parents were devastated. No words from his dictionary could describe their state. He didn't have any courage to go to them, but inside he wanted to make them feel better.

After a while, he got a chance to look at her from a distance. He was on the verge of tears and reached home quickly. He quickly washed his face, and he looked at himself in the mirror. His eyes were red, not because of alcohol. He could feel raging anger.

He barely did anything in his room until she was discharged. He never thought that he could be so affected. He never loved anyone before, never knew how a woman's touch felt. He could get a glimpse of her when she watches TV. She never came out of her house.

Every time she switches off her TV, he waited for her to go out of her home. So that he could get a good look at her, to his luck, he never got a chance. He could never understand the new feeling that he has developed towards her.

Even though he could never give a good look at her. A month ago, he never knew how she looks or never cared more about her. He never attended to the works that his father allotted in his company, nor could he accept himself.

After a point in time, his mother couldn't come to grips with his behavior. So she asked him to go find a job so that he could be independent of his father. He searched for a long time, attended many interviews but couldn't crack them.

Then finally landed into one MNC from his father's recommendation. He spent weeks like a machine working for hours and waiting for her and then slept.

One day he remembers waking up on a hospital bed to find his mother weeping. Seated next to him, hurried to call the doctor. "He fainted due to food abstinence. I prescribe to visit a psychiatrist." His mother was volatile until his father arrived.

The next day, he visited the psychiatrist prescribed. She introduced herself as Dr. Catherine. She was a fine young lady, too young to be a psychiatrist or at least looked like it. She started to shoot questions, which he answered thick-skinned.

While scribbled in her notepad. "So, how are you now," she asked. "Not bad, and what am I here for" he replies, troubled.

She began to speak, "To talk--" "About what." he cuts her off. "Anything you want." she finishes.

He tried to add words, but was interrupted by her assistant knocked and announced that "Mam, in the next 15 minutes, you have to meet Teju Ravichander at her residence."
