The Chase

"Here, give me your guns. Can't go out in public with them." Nate says, but doesn't take the guns from Emma and Mika. "You forget I can hide a weapon anywhere on my body, that includes a chainsaw if we're counting that one time." Emma says and she and Mika hide their guns. 

"I think we're clear, come on." Sully says and they all head out into the street. "Let's go before any more of them show up." Emma says and as they walk, Mika hears a distant sound. Mika pushes Nate out of the way, and takes a dart to the neck. "Agh." She exclaims. "Mika!" Nate called out as she stumbled towards them.

"I got hit with the same dart as Charlie." She says and Nate tells her, "Run. Please." Mika nods and begins running as the drug takes effect. "O won't hurt you. Let me in." His voice gently and calmly states, "Stay out of my head!" She shouts in frustration as she hears Talbot's voice in her head. (Talbot's voice is in this style or just regular bold.)

"Just bend to me. Tell me everything, and I won't hurt them." His voice echoes in her mind. "I won't bend to you." She mutters out as she runs. "Tell me. Tell me, everything." His voice insisted, "I won't tell you." She says as Talbot's voice doesn't cease.

Mikayla blacks out and wakes up, seeing Marlowe holding her journal. "Welcome back." Marlowe speaks to her, and she sees Talbot's face smirking at her. "I wouldn't recommend making a scene. You're not exactly here legally, remember." Marlowe states to her and she sits asking, "What the hell do you want?" Marlowe says, "Now, now Ms. Hajsenovik, though it's not your real name. I won't dwell on it though."

Marlowe takes out a file and begins reading, "Father supposedly commits suicide, Mother dies by hanging self because of her severe depression and survivor's guilt. Sent by the government to an all girls religious boarding school at the age of six with younger sister who was four. Younger sister: Erina gets beaten severely by upper secondary school bullies and dies during treatment."

Mikayla sees a picture of Emma and Marlowe says, "Don't worry, we won't touch her. Unless of course, we need to apply a little pressure." Sitting back Marlowe tells her, "As much as it pains me to admit it, I need your help to find Victor Sullivan." She folds her hands, "As you know, my original plan was to shoot Nate with the dart but it hit you instead because you pushed him."

Leaning forwards she commands, "Now help me get Victor, we both know he knows the coordinates to find Iran already." Mikayla refuses and Marlowe attempts to get in her head. "Your mentor hasn't attempted a rescue yet. Her loyalty may not lie with you as strongly as you you'd like to believe."

Marlowe tells Mika that she'd located Nate and Emma + Sully, and in response Mika threw the table over and ran after Talbot down an alley. Jumping over crates, and a car she wouldn't relent in her chase to get Talbot. He threw a door in her face but, after the intial shock wore off, she continued chasing him.

"Agh.." she cried out a little when she didn't make a jump and landed on her butt, hard..like very hard. Quickly getting up, she kept chasing Talbot tackling him off a loft area into the boxes below. After he began running again, she chased him through a hotel and up a four story building. "Goddamn you're persistent." He'd said and ran even harder.

"Where'd he go?" Mika questioned as she lost sight of him in the crowded market streets. Mika caught a glimpse of him, then after runningfira bit, she found him and began jumping through some crates to chase him further. "Shoot them!" She heard some guys shout and she dodged their fire cornering Talbot in a secluded fountain area.

Talbot tries to slam her with a plank but Mika dodges knocking it out of his hands and beating him a little. She headbutted him and dodges his kick when he throws her to the ground.
