"Sorry Rosé." Jimin looked down. Tears were already falling out of Rosé's eyes as she started to plead holding his hand to prevent him from going.

"Please don't go Jimin-ah, you are my only friend." She cried, whispering the last words.

Jimin gave her an apologetic smile as he took both her hands.

"You wished for a friend Rosé and here I am but however, I cannot stay for long." He said, slowly. Rosé shook her head. "Why? Why can't you stay for long?" She begged for an answer but nothing fell out of his lips except for an apologetic smile.

"I am one of the stars up there." He finally said out, pointing to all the stars in the velvety night. "I have just some time down here to grant wishes before I have to go up there even if I don't like it." Rosé glanced at his eyes before looking down. "Then why did you grant mine if you knew it will just leave me broken?" She whispered.

Jimin just smiled. "It's because it's your wish." Rosé pursed her lips. "Then I want you to be my friend forever." She said firmly. Jimin chuckled guiltily as he took a step back.

"You do know there's no such thing as 'forever' right?"

Right. Rosé wanted to argue back but she knew he was right. It was true there was no 'forever' life.

Jimin smiled softly. "Bye Rosé, my beloved friend."

And the night just went like that as Rosé watched her friend gliding back into the sky and turning into a star, twinkling in the night.

She wished for a friend to accompany her for a while but she never wished she fell in love with the chubby cheeked guy who had small fingers and a cute eye smile.
