Julia was fifteen years old ant the truth is Julia just wanted to fit in she was a petite child with olive skin and dark brown hair she was half italian and half irish she lived in mulberry cottage in devon with her mother cecily and her father alfrieda she was an only child when Julia was at home she was happy she could be herself and she didn't have to worry about anything but the problem was when she had to go to school she went to a private school as her parents were quiet well off and thought Julia should have the best education the problem was that all the children at her school were shopper children by shopper children i mean they spent there weekends getting the train to shopping cities they didn't spend anytime at the beach or anything and they all had names like : Chanel and Coco e.t.c
Julia despised the types of children she went to school with her hobbies were:
Surfing and making collages and shopping at charity shops and making cupcakes and snorkelling.
Julia just wished that a child of her intrests would move to Devon and go to her school.
One day Julia was walking along the beach she had just got out of the sea from body boarding she had her quicksilver pink and black wetsuit on her dark brown naturally straight hair was tied in a top knot her olive skin almost sparkled in the cool summer sun she had been for a morning body board and was feeling very refreshed and ready for the weekend ahead she planned out her weekend in her head.
First of alll her and her parents were going to have blueberry pancakes for breakfast with fresh orange juice then they were going to head to the local flea market to pick up some driftwood they were then going to make driftwood chimes to hang in Julia's newly decorated room and then on sunday they were travelling up to cornwall for two days until tuesday for a snorkelling exhibition as Julia's school had monday off for a teacher training day.
Julia was busy in thought about what to wear for the flea market when she bumped into someone with her board she looked up to see bright green eyes she then came out of her deep thoughts and apologised she said "I am so sorry i should have looked where i was going" .
The Bright green eyes replied in a what seemed as plymouth accent:
"Don't worry my names tiger"
Julia stepped back and saw tiger was tall with blonde sweeped hair he also had an olive tan he was also tall he was aswell in a quicksilver wetsuit accept this one had blue and green on he said hey what's your name Julia replied with her name in her mixed up accent. Tiger replied with that's a loveley name then julia and tiger got talking it turned out tiger was new to devon he had moved fom plymouth and was starting at Julia's school on tuesday. Julia took tiger's number and then walked home with the biggest smile in a while on her face.
She told her mum and dad about tiger they said why don't you invite him for tea tonight Julia said ok why not then julia's mum rang tiger's parents then told Julia they were all coming round.
It was the start of a new Friendship.
