Months had passed and it was once again nearly winter holiday.

"You have all done great this term! I'm very proud of you and I can't wait to teach you all next year. Have a great winter holiday. Class is dismissed!"

"Thank you, you too Professor Harry!" Most of the class responds.

"C'mon, lets get to dinner early, I'm hungry" Teddy urges Georgia.

"You're always hungry" Georgia says.

"Yeah yeah whatever"

-------------

"See you tomorrow" Teddy waves.

"See ya" Georgia walks towards the Slytherin common room.

Georgia and her friends find seats in the common room to chat. They chat for a while before most decide to head to bed. Eventually Georgia was the last one by the fire. The only others in the common room being a few first years.

"I can't wait to go home, my dad and I are supposed to make cookies"

This time it was sadness not anger that overwhelmed Georgia. It had been awhile since Georgia truly got angry about her unknown father, but her curiosity had gotten the best of her lately.

She decided to wander the halls, she knew she might get in trouble, but she was leaving for holiday tomorrow so it didn't matter. The darkness of the castle halls at night, with the occasional candlelight, were perfect for a Georgia's gloomy mood.

"Why mother why" she though aloud, tears threatening to spill out.

She wandered for a few minutes before "Lumos" down the hall a person was illuminated "Miss Parkinson?"

"Professor Harry- I-" Georgia began to sob "I'm sorry"

"It's alright Georgia, come with me" Harry lead Georgia to the nearest stair case and directed her to sit down. "I'm not allowed to let you wander at night but since you seem to be in distress, and I was one for wandering the halls at night, I'll let this slide. Are you alright?"

"Professor Harry?"

"Yes, Miss Parkinson?"

"What was it like to never know your parents?" Georgia says with a childlike bluntness.

"No- no ones asked me that before" Harry says shocked "it was hard, it was definitely hard at times. I was angry, I felt like I needed revenge. Seeing others with their families made me jealous. I also found my own family in my my own way. I learned how to cope with my feelings. Can I ask why you asked?"

"My moms never let me know about my father. I just want a father." Georgias crying calmed down.

"Sometimes thats for a reason, it may not seem fair. You're friends with my godson Teddy right?"

"Yes sir"

"If you want to talk to someone, you could talk to him, he lost both his parents in the war"

"He did?"

"Yeah, you should talk to him, he'll be better to talk to than me, but my classroom is always open"

"Thank you Professor Harry"

"Here" Harry hands Georgia a chocolate candy out of his robes "Eat this, you'll feel better. Now get to bed, you have a long train ride tomorrow"

Georgia just nods before heading off to her dorm.

Harry turns around when he hears the sound of footsteps on the stairs.

McGonagall puts her hand on Harry's shoulder "I'm proud of you Potter"

"Thank you Professor"

----------------

"Are you guys ready yet?" Georgia says "we gotta eat breakfast and then finish packing!"

"Coming!"

"Just a sec"

"On my way"

"Ready!"

Georgia and her roommates rush off to the great hall. Many students eat quickly as if that means the train is coming sooner.

"I'm so excited for break!" Many students express.

"I'm gonna miss you guys though, sometimes school is more fun than home" Georgia laughs.

"That's true"

"When you go to a WIZARD school, it's bound to be more fun" Teddy says approaching the Slytherin table and taking a seat. "You guys ready for the train?"

"Almost, I gotta finish packing"

"Well hurry!! We leave for the station in 30 minutes!" Teddy says.

"Oh crap!" Georgia jumps up and runs to her dorm and finishes throwing her belongings in her trunk.

The rest of the students congregated with their things. They all left their things in the hall trusting they would make their way to the train.

Georgia and her two friends shared a compartment with Teddy and two of his friends, chatting the whole way back to London.

"Mum!" Georgia yells and runs to Pansy.

"Hi sweetie. How was school?"

"It was great!" Georgia says "but I'm excited for the holiday"

"Me too, lets get home!"
