Planes engines start to take off with the roar of them filling the surrounding area. While the two people are looking out at sea.

On an island not to far from where the people earlier are at.

???: "things are pretty exciting around here"
???: "I'd describe it as over crowded, look around eagle union and Royal Navy are both gathering at this base and things don't appear to be slowing down any time soon."
???: "I bet you can't guess who else is coming from our side? your hint is it's out greatest warrior with the most battle stars ever received."
???: "Ah, you must mean the famous Grey Ghost. The main forces of our Royal navy will also be arriving soon. Looks like this base is becoming central to all our activities."
???: "Come on! We should at least say hello! It'd be rude to keep them waiting! Let's go, hurry"
As the 2 people are going down to the port they pass someone in a Hooded cloak with the breeze pushing the hood off showing a girl with Orange red eyes with Mechanical horns on her head.
???: "Illustrious!"
Illustrious: "Her highness has emerged from on high to greet me. On what do I owe this honor?"
???: "Don't be silly. It's not like that. it's good to see you, it's been a long time."
Illustrious: "Indeed it has. Good day, old friend. Who is here with you?"
???: "Hi I'm Cleveland! From the eagle union! Glad you made it, it sounds like a long journey"
A little girl with a unicorn hides behind illustrious covering her face with he back and peeks back out and hides again when Cleveland chuckles.
Cleveland: "hi there"
Illustrious: "Unicorn is a bit shy. Sorry. She doesn't mean to be antisocial. Please don't take her behavior personally"
Cleveland: "Nice to meet ya"
After a few minutes of walking to the HQ building and talking about Iron Blood and Sakura empire and Unicorn searching for U-chan with Laffey and Javelin we see Aynammi at a cliff looking over the harbor with U-chan coming up to the cliff.

Ayannami: "Cute plushie"
U-chan starts to move around.
Ayannami: "Never mind it's alive, weird"
Unicorn: "Look! oh my gosh"
Ayannami: "hm?"
Unicorn: "There you are, U-chan! I found you."
Ayannami: "U-chan?"
Unicorn: "Thank you so much!"
Ayannami: "Who, me? I didn't do anything, nothing worthy of thanks."
Javelin: "Wow, I didn't know such a pretty place was out here."

After everyone is discussing and talking with each other a plane interferes and Ayannami gets away from Javelin, Laffey and Unicorn.
Ayanammi: "Come in. This is Ayanammi reporting."
???: "we're on a mission use your code name."
Ayanammi: "Right I'm sorry this is Citrus I'm looking at a general layout of the base."
???: "good, we're ready to head out as well, we'll reconvene when it's appropriate."
Ayannami: "Understood"
Not far from the Azur lane base there are 2 Kitsunes on a rock one with long black hair with red eyes and another with white short hair and blue eyes sitting on the rock with a what appears to be a paper plane.
Kaga: "I'm ready whenever you are Phoenix"
Akagi: "tell me, Kaga. What's the fundamental nature of battle?"
Kaga: "Sister Akagi please use my code name"
Akagi: "to battle is to inflict injury." Battle also invites injury. Therefore, a battle is an exchange of injury. Pain is an interpreter helping us to understand each other's feelings. So you could say when we battle we share love."
Kaga: "none of that poetry has anything to do with your question of war. I battle to destroy my enemies. Plain and simple."
A storm starts to roll in and azur lane takes notice of it but doesn't really worry much about it . but Prince of Wales notices the siren ships.
Wales: "The sirens are on their way! Intercept them! This is not a drill."

Wales: "Why are the sirens attacking now? What horrible timing coincidence... or not?"
