US Papdyne/Undyrus Story

Undyne POV

It was 3:00am— and Undyne couldn't sleep. She did drink a lot of coffee beforehand, but she really didn't think anything of it until now. Now she was laying in bed, thinking about work. She thought about Napstabot and his show, she thought about Alphys, and she thought about Papyrus. She thought about his interview he had and his cute smile and how he was really really— wait, what? She flipped over and pulled her pillow over her face to cover her blush. "Argh..." He was just a close friend of hers so she didn't why she was thinking about him this way. "Just.. a friend." She mumbled trying to convince herself. Just... a friend. She thought repeatedly. She was trying to grasp if she actually meant it or not.

She wasn't going to sleep. She checked her alarm clock. "1:63 am..." she mumbled. The numbers were playing hopscotch in her brain. She didn't actually know if she wanted to get up. "1:63 am..." She mumbled again. "Wait...
1:63 am?" She quickly turned to the clock. The clock read 6:31 am. "Holy shit!" She quickly got up, took off her light blue pajamas and switched into her black turtleneck and jeans. She checked the clock again. 6:34 am. 'I still have time.' She rushed out her room and quickly grabbed her lab coat. "Hey doc!" Said a voice from behind her. She instantly recognized the voice and turned around."H-Hey Napstaton." She said in an unusually raspy voice. "Just woke up huh?" They said with a smirk on his face."Sh-Shut up." Napstaton gave a small giggle. "I heard your boyfriend's coming over today." He winked. Her face was covered in blush, so they knew they were right. "H-He's n-not my b-boyfriend." They gave her a stone-faced look that screamed "liar." "ANYway, I'll be at my news station if you need me." He rushed out the door. She puffed out a big sigh "He's just a friend. Its just a professional relationship. Nothing mor—" Knock Knock! "Knock knock."
