4x02 part 3

Anders pov
Guzman text me saying that everyone was meeting at this new club down by the river at 9pm so I sit and wait for the clock to tick by but time seemed to slow down even more . I jump at the sound of my phone buzzing and Omar's name popping up .

"Hello?"

"Hey Ander , is everything okay ?"

"Yes fine why wouldn't it be ?"

"I don't know I just felt like I needed to call you to check up on you"

"I'm fine Omar"

"Okay- So did someone tell you about the plan tonight?"

"Yes Guzman told me we are all meeting at 9"

"Okay great well see you then then"

"Yeah" I hang up the phone and fall back onto my bed . What have we all gotten ourselves into , I thought this year would be a good year for once

Guzman's pov
It was 9pm and I'm stood at the entrance to the bar waiting for everyone to arrive .

"Guzman , what are you doing here ?" Lexi sneaks up behind me as I check my phone

"Hi , just waiting for my friends why are you here ?" I talk to her but I'm looking over her head trying to search for anyone until I see Rebeka and Omar walking up in a distance "hey yeah great chat but I need to go bye" I speed off over to the pair

"Where is everyone ?" I frantically ask them as we reach each other by the river front

"Here now" Rebeka points behind me to where Samuel , Ander and Cayetana were all walking over

"Okay we're all here now so what's the plan?" Omar asks as we gather in a circle

"Well Ander , Rebeka have you found anything out from Cruz or Chiara yet ?" Cayetana asks as we all turn to face them

"Chita hasn't said anything" Rebeka says bluntly "yeah Cruz hasn't said anything either" He gives Omar a little look which we all notice but we ignore the awkward look and carry on discussing

"Something weird is going on round here and someone knows something" Samuel starts talking after taking a drink from his little flask "Can you stop drinking for one day ?" Rebeka snaps at him which causes him to put it away

"Okay okay right now we know nothing but everyone needs to keep a close eye on the new kids and try to fin-" I'm interrupted by Cayetana

"Wait wait everyone look is that Lexi and ... Mr Ramos ?" Cayetana points over to the jetty where Lexi seems to be arguing with mr Ramos our new teacher

"Hide down here" Ander instructs is to go behind some bushes so we don't get seen

"What could they be talking about ?" Samuel asks as we spy on the pair arguing

"If we knew that we wouldn't have to be hiding idiot" Rebeka bites back at him which starts an awkward moment of silence

"Can you stop ! What the hell is your problem Rebeka" Samuel squares up to her as we all try to stay quiet

"You ! You're my problem Samu!" She says angrily and a bit too loud

"Can you to be quiet they're going to see us !" I drag Samuel back down and sh them from talking

No ones pov
Everyone watches as Lexi and mr Ramos finish their argument and walk separate ways as Lexi goes inside and Mr Ramos goes to the car park and gets in his car

"Okay that was very weird" Omar the obvious as they all get up out from behind the bush and bundle back in a circle

"Do you think Lexi and mr Ramos are acting strange ? I mean look what happened in class the other day" Samuel brings up a good point to the group as they see Lexi through the window of the bar getting a drink

"I guess there's only one way to find out" Guzman says as everyone looks towards Samuel

"What ?" Samuel says confused but it was obvious what they were going to say "What no ! Why do we need to keep getting close to all the newbies !"

"Look they might know something and we need to know what they know and you know Lexi - pretty well" Guzman uses an awkward pause as he tries to convince Samuel

"Plus you're good at using girls so it's perfect for you" Rebeka throws another snide remark at Samuel which he looks hurt by

"When are you going to drop it ?" He asks her as she lifts her shoulders saying I don't know

"Look everyone is doing there part now this is your part Samuel , just try to get close to her and find information" Guzman leads the group as they convince Samuel to do it

"Fine I'll do it" Samuel finally gives in

"Okay go on then" Omar gives him a push towards the door of the bar

"What now !?" He sounds confused but everyone raises their eyebrows and give him the 'obviously' look

"Okay I'm going" he puts his hands up and heads into the bar

Samuels pov

I nervously walk up to the bar where Lexi was sat with a drink in her hand , slump on the table

"Hey can I join you ?" I ask her politely as she nods her head softly

"Why are you sitting with me exactly ?" She asks me without even looking at me

"Just thought we could hang out and chat" She looks up at me with a confused look on her face

"Okay you're acting weird Samuel" She caught me out straight away

"Okay no that's not why I'm here" I think for a second before I say anything else

"I just wanted to see if we were all good after you know what happened between us" I cringe at my awkwardness

"Okay Samuel we made out in a bathroom we aren't going to be getting married and plus I embarrassed you in front of the whole class" I felt more comfortable because her confidence just like Rebeka had come back after her being so quiet

"Good so friends ?" She gives me another weird look which made me think she didn't believe me "I just want to be friends that's all I swear"

"Fine but stop acting like a creep" I smile at her and go up to the bartender to get myself a drink

"I saw you outside with Mr Ramos , what were you guys talking about ?" I ask once I return with my drink

"What did you hear !?" She freaks out at me which took me by surprise as I choke on my drink

"Nothing ! I just didn't realise you two knew each other that's all" I try to sweeten the situation again

"Oh right - of course - yeah  I better go before my parents wonder where I am . Bye Sammy" She leaves me sat there confused at her reaction but I smile at her nickname for me 'Sammy' . I get my phone out and dial Guzman's number

"Hey Guzman , something definitely is not right with Lexi and Mr Ramos I'm going to keep my eye on her"
