Chapter 21

It was Saturday. The boys had today and tomorrow to guess who I liked. The week was basically the same all day. Practice matches with short breaks and hanging out with Kuroo and Bokuto or Kenma.

I was cutting up fruits with the other managers. We were talking about random stuff and bonding. Once we were done, we took them outside. The boys were all there talking, while waiting for a snack.

I passed out fruit as I looked around. I saw Hinata, Kenma, Inuoka, Noya, and Tanaka sitting together. I passed out fruit to the rest of the boys that didn't have any and fixed some for myself. Then I walked over to the group and sat down with them.

"Y/n~Chan there you are." Hinata said with a bright smile.

"Great now that your here we can start." Tanaka said.

"Start what?" I ask.

"We're gonna go over the list of people we think you like and why." Inuoka answered.

"We each can pick one person and yes they can be the same." Noya said.

I nodded, "So who's going first?"

"Me." Tanaka said. "I think you like Bokuto."

I laughed a little, "Why?"

"On day one me and Noya saw you touching his hair when we before we starting looking for Hinata."

"Yeah I think it's Bokuto too." Noya said.

"So you two think I like Bokuto. Who's next?" I asked.

"Well me and Hinata think you like Kenma." Inuoka said.

I paused for a second and looked at Kenma. He was frozen too."And what's your reason?"

"You two have been together whenever you've had free time." Hinata answered.

"She doesn't." Kenma mumbled.

"What?" Hinata asked.

"She doesn't like me." He said louder.

"Then who does she like?" Noya asks.

"Kuroo confessed to her before camp... right?" He said looking up with me.

I was caught in a deep stare with his cat eyes. I couldn't look away even if I wanted too. The group was silent and all you could is the talking from others around us.

"Exactly. She doesn't like me like I like her." He whispered.

"Wait... Kenma you like me?" I asked.

He looked away, embarrassed and nodded his head slightly. I was speechless.

"So wait, Y/n who do you like?" Inuoka asked.

I gained a bunch of confidence after processing what just happened. I did the "Debby Ryan", pushing some of my braids behind my ear and leaned toward Kenma.

I put my hand underneath his chin, turned his face towards me and kissed him. He was tensed at first, but then slowly kissed me back.

Tanaka and Noya started to yell and hype us up, catching the attention of others and soon all the boys were making noise for us. I'm glad the coaches were day drinking, so we wouldn't get in trouble.

I pulled away and looked at Inuoka, "Does that answer your question?"

"Yeah."

I sat back down in my spot and ate the rest of my spot, while Kenma looked back down at his PSP, blushing.

Kuroo POV

"I knew my plan would work." I said proudly.

"How do you know it was your plan that caused this?" Akaashi asked.

"Because I'm a handsome genius." I answered.

"Awwwwwww they're so cute together. I ship it." Bokuto said.

I don't know why, but after seeing them kiss and everything I kinda feel upset. I excuse myself from the others and go to the bathroom with my phone. I called Amaya and told her what happened. She's the only one that knows the truth.

A couple of days after that "fake" confession, I realized that it was real. Me and Amaya have been bonding since we've met. I had to tell somebody, so I told her.

Amaya tried to comfort me through the phone and it worked a little. I told her I would call later though and hung up. I stayed in the bathroom and thought.

Now that they've both confessed, I have no chance. Kenma's my best friend, but all is fair in love and war. I plan to fight for Y/n. At whatever the cost...

Your POV

It was night time now and the practice matches were over. It was free time for all the teams. I decided to talk to Kenma about us. I mean like we kiss, but I'm a little slow and I need to make sure we're dating before anything else happens.

I walked to our team's room and saw Kenma laying down on his spot, next to mines. I sat down next to him and leaned against the wall. We were the only two in here. Everyone else was doing free practice with the other teams.

Kenma looked up to me and back to his phone. He sat up and leaned against the wall with me. He put his phone down and turned it off. Now we were looking at each other in silence.

"So you like me and I like you." I said, stating the obvious. "Do you wanna be my boo?" I asked nervously.

"What happened to the confidence that you had before we kissed?" He asked back with a smirk.

"Shut up." I said laughing and playful hitting his shoulder.

He laughed and pulled me into a hug, lightly placing a kiss on my forehead. "I would love to be your boyfriend, Kitten."

I pulled out of the hug and looked at him with a goofy smile. Then I put my hand on his face and pulled him to me, giving him a nice long kiss to seal the deal.
