"almost done..... there" sugawara says to himself as he steps back and looks at the picnic blanket sitting on the grass.
he was thinking for a while on asking you out and finally, when you guys got into highschool he worked up the guts to do it.
he was so happy when you said yes, and he wanted to make this date special.
when you showed up in the park, suga grabbed you hand, leading you to a secluded area in the trees.
you though it was really sweet.
"suga... this is amazing." you say sitting down next to hi on the blanket.
"hehe. thank you. wanted it to be special." he says back looking at you.
you looking straight into his eyes, smiling softly.
"your eyes are very pretty (m/n)." he says, breaking the silence.
you start laughing, "ahah thank you." you say smiling.
suga pouts. "hey, why are you laughing. i was giving a compliment." he says.
your laughter dies down and you look back into his eyes, a content smile on your face.
"your eyes are so pretty to." you say back.
suga blushes a little. he then notices a strand of your short (h/c) hanging in front of your face.
"here." he says as he tucks it behind your ear.
you smile and thank him.
you both sit there for a second, admiring each other, slowly getting closer, until your lips meet for the first time.

suga smile, remembering that day so clear, staring at your guy's wedding photo, framed with the date.
you come up behind him, engulfing him in a bear hug.
"happy valentines day koshi." you say, kissing the top of his head.
"happy valentines day (m/n)."
