Warrior Damon's POV

Yelling. That's the first thing I heard when I entered the hall. Then I heard a smash. The four of us ran down the halls, rushing to the council room. I glanced at Maria, her face was sweating and she looked worried, we were all worried. The council men never get violent, but even though they weren't violent, everyone knew how powerful they are, the most powerful in our race. We reached the massive doors, before we could open it, Elder Tribute spoke through the door making us all freeze. "We have to make contact with our base on earth, they are our only hope at survival, she is our only hope for survival!"
They couldn't make contact with them, they were criminals, sent to earth in exile. They couldn't be that desperate... Could they? I knew that our world was under attack, but it wasn't anything that we couldn't handle...We had great warriors and unbelievable powers, we could crush the Hellions if we desired to, right?

I started to back away from the door, my brain trying to register what just happened, what the council men were suggesting. Before I could get two steps away the door opened, revealing the elders. " Leaving so soon warrior Damon? We were just about to invite you in, actually how about all of you guys join us?" Elder Matt sneer, obviously not pleased about us ease dropping.

" I bowed my head in respect and entered, but I desperately wanted to rip his head off, from his disrespect. My short temper is defiantly going to get me in trouble, but at least it was useful during battle, I thought to myself.

"So warrior Damon how much of our conversation did you hear?" Elder Tribute mused.
Elder Matt answered before I could answer "Probably the whole damn thing, he knows this is strictly an elders meeting!!!"

And just like that my temper came to the surface..."Oh I'm sorry that I came here running because I heard something crash, I'm sorry that I overheard what you were saying...." Thunder crackled around me, making my friends cower back, but it didn't faze the elders. I knew that I should stop, that my powers were getting out of control but I couldn't..." I'm sorry that you guys are fucking idiots, to even think about bringing those criminals back here! I'm sorry that I AM head warrior and I should be counted in these type of meetings, because it's MY friends and warriors that have to deal with your shitty decisions!!!!" Lightning ripped threw the room, heading straight for Elder Matt.

Before it could hit him though, Elder Tribute created a force field making the Lightning sizzle and die out.... Dame that was close, that wouldn't have killed elder Matt but I would have most definitely gotten a serious punishment, probably a whipping, and I know from experience that those are not fun.

"I guess that answered my questions about what you know."

My head snaps to look at elder tribute, taking in his amused expression. Why the hell does he look so amused?

"I look amused warrior Damon because you don't know what you just walked into."

Shit did I really say that out loud? A voice answered me inside my head ----- no you didn't but I could hear you through thoughts ----- how could I forget that he reads minds, and that my blockade slipped during my rant.

"And what exactly did I just walk into elder tribute?" Answering the smug elder, out loud this time.

"Well you see, I just had a brilliant idea, Damon... I think that you and your most powerful warriors should go get our people from earth."

"Are you kidding me?"

"No I am not."

"Let me understand this, you want me to bring five VERY powerful criminal families back to Kolklan so they can help us?"

"Yes."

"And you do know that just one of them can single handily beat you all in a battle?"

"Yes."

"And that you're putting all of our lives in danger?"

"I am very well aware of that. That is why I am sending you and our best warriors to get them."
