Restricted urges

This was originally going be a book but after dealing with writer's block I decided to make it a roleplay

DARK AGES — Centuries ago , humans never knew about vampires or werewolves until these mysterious murders started to appear out of nowhere. No one knew what was responsible for the deaths but just written them off as wolf attacks. That is , until one of the villagers saw their friend being attacked by a pale women with red eyes and sharp fangs.

They believed they were demons from hell and that they only wanted to cause misery for them. Till this day , no one knows how the first vampires came to be or how they even multiplied as quickly as they did , but for a while , humans lived in fear. Decades go by and life was miserable for them till a group of holy priests walked into the town and announced that there was at long last a way to get rid of the vampires. They were carrying a ancient holy book and shared it's knowledge with the rest of the villagers , hoarding some of it's knowledge to themselves so that they could stay in power ( stuff like how vampires weren't actually as evil as they thought and that they were just trying to survive ).

They learned how to make holy stakes and other holy weapons to kill off the vampires and taught these methods to their children , creating the first generation of vampire hunters known as the Melvina bloodline that has continues till this day.

MODERN DAY — As society became more modern , vampires and humans came to be at peace with each other , but vampires get discriminated a lot and aren't allowed to do most of the stuff humans do like getting really good jobs or going to many public placed. If they are caught with human blood or have killed a human , they will either be arrested or killed by holy stakes. The first group of priests have established a heavily religious government and now own a church that contains the ancient book used all those years ago , heavily guarded by security and police.

Humans can be turned by a vampire draining all their blood but it's still an punishable offense that can lead up to jail for life. It's common for humans to be killed by a vampire if drained but there is a rare chance of humans becoming vampires. Purebloods are full fledged vampires born from vampire families or have been turned and lost all of their humanity. Half bloods , although rare , do exist since some humans go against the law of never intermingling with a vampire. Humans can be arrested for being caught selling human blood to a vampire or aiding in the vampire's attack on a human.

Vampires survive on artificial blood and animal blood but back in the past , vampires could not survive without human blood. Now their bodies have grown used to not having human blood that they can stomach it. However , once they've tasted human blood , their cravings grow stronger like a drug and they tap into the urges their ancestors had. Vampires go through " vampire puberty " where they discover their first urges for human blood. When their babies , they're given breastmilk from their mother and can live fine but once they're old enough to stop drinking milk , they are introduced to a need for blood. Normally , they're supposed to be given human blood , but because of the way society is ran , they are given artificial blood until their bodies adjust to it...fucked up I know :')

Like vampires , the werewolves have also been discriminated but far worse then vampires. Werewolves grow stronger and their desires increase on full moons and blue moons while vampires's strength and desires happen on blood moons. This all brings us to the actual storyline.

It's vague enough to where you can make a oc for this world and interesting enough to add drama ! My ocs will be in my oc book so head over there and then to my vampire chapter in my rp book !
