I get to the track feeling really nervous, i'm the only 7th grader on the high school track team. So many worries were going through my head right now. What if i'm the slowest person on the team??? What if they just put me on this team to make fun of me. WHAT IF some of the cheerleaders and football players from my grade see me. THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING. Anyways it's time for attendance
"Grace" Coach says
"HERE" I supposedly think grace said.
"Lilly"... "Here"..."Kristen"..."here"......*TWO MINUTES LATER* "julie"..."here" I suddenly I hear a name that was quite surprising
"Sara" ..."Uh Here"
I look around slightly and I don't know where that voice was coming from, could it me sara???? Or is it just a high schooler. THAT VOICE SOUNDED SO FAMILIAR.
"Skyler?" Says coach
I quietly say "here"
"Alright great attendance, I'm gonna pair you guys up in groups of two to work on warmups and stretches ok so first Julie and Lily you two are together, next is Kristen and Grace..........Lastly we have Sara you will be paired up with skylar"
I go walk towards 'Skylar' but all i see is the back of her head walking to a good spot on the field. She looked like a high schooler but I know the back of her head, she has to be sara she just has to be. Suddenly she turns around.
"OMG! HEYYYYYYYY I'm your partner!!!!!"
AUTHORS NOTE: this is the shortest chapter yet but you guys have to see if it is sara why would she be so happy to be skylars partner????
