I just got back from hogsmade, I walked up to my dorm and as I opened the door I realized my nails were all chipped up and scratched. I went up to my dorm and picked out some maroon nail polish. (Sorry if your not in griffendor but for the sake of the story you are 😀) I sat on my bed and screwed of the lid of nail polish remover. Right when I finished my boyfriend, Fred, walked in.

"You know there's such a thing as a knock. I could have been naked."

"Would that be soo bad?" He smirked sitting on the chair beside my wardrobe.

"Well... what if it was Amanda who was changing and you walked in?" He stoped in his tracks and stared at me with a serious face.

"Then I would learn my lesson. but until then, I don't know what knocking is." He leaned his head looking at what I was doing.

"Watcha doin?" He said getting up to sit with me.

"Painting my nails." I say concentrated.

"Oh, can I try?" I look at him like "are you serious" and "lol no"

"What!? It can't be THAT hard!"

"Knock yourself out I guess." He smiles and takes the nail polish from me.

"Hey! Give it back!" I say smiling and trying to reach for the bottle with my free hand.

"Ah ah ah.... gimme a kiss then I'll give it to you." I role my eyes and give him a peck on the check.

"That's all I get?" But unlucky for him I grab the bottle a swipe it back just in time.

"ha." I say giving him a smug smile. He rolls his eyes and reaches in my drawer to get another bottle. He takes out a bottle of pink nail polish that's lighter that Hedwig and as pinker at Ron got when he received his howler. He immediately starts putting it.

"And.... done!" He looked at me and showed me his nails. I burst out laughing at his rubbish excuse for painted nails.

"What!? I think their good..." he says admiring his work. "I might keep then for tomorrow." I role my eyes.

"Whatever you want hun."

Then the next morning at the great hall I see the same pink on his nails as he sat and ate breakfast.
