Chapter 17

Hyerin's pov:

What's that sound! My phone is ringing at this hour? but the chief shouldn't call in this hour as it is also sleeping time there. Maybe something important but....

I took the call and received it.

''Hello? '' I said

''he-he-hello XU?" What Soldier YJ?
What is he doing with Chief's phone?

''Soldier YJ, you?  What are you doing with the chief's phone? Do you know what will happen with you if you get caught? Keep the phone there and leave before getting caught,'' I said

''N-no XU, I won't go. If I get caught it's okay but please listen to me just for once....think about it again ..the thing that you are going to do, is it appropriate? Don't do that because I don't think humans are like what we think. Chief just wants to destroy earth because he wants to rule over earth, he want make humans his...... ''

''SHUT UP SOLDIER YJ!!  Who gave you the right to speak like that or think like that towards our chief? He is doing the right thing,'' I said with anger, how can he thinks like that?!

''But did you ever tried to think why? What did humans do to us? They did nothing. Chief said they are not good, they fought, they destroy earth nature but if they did then how the beauty of earth is still alive. You are living there don't you think earth is more beautiful than our planet? We can't just assume things just because the chief said. Don't you think they are good even more th......''

''You know nothing. Don't say those things to me. They are lies,'' I said as I  cut the call.

And I fell on the floor while the tears started to fall from eyes. I don't know why I'm crying? I am so confused. I can't even think properly. I don't want to think like that. I came here for my mission and I will just continue it. But since when I came here I am just thinking useless things. Those things are making me not to do my mission perfectly.

I don't want to distract myself but every single incident which is happening to me is making me distracted more. I don't want to believe this, I don't want to believe those words which soldier YJ spoke. I dont want to but............ *she held her head becoming flustered and started crying*

Next day:

3rd person pov:

Hyerin woke up with a bad headache due to crying last night. Her eyes were puffy. She had a bath and get dressed for classes. She had her breakfast and went out with her bag.

She came out from her alley and saw that Taehyung was standing there. Taehyung saw her and waved at her. She was confused because why Taehyung was there? His home was another way.

''You here? What are you doing here?" She asked

''I just wanted to go school with you, together,'' he said with a smile but it soon faded away as he saw her puffy eyes.

''What happen Hyerin? Why your eyes are puffy? Did you cry?'' He asked being tensed

''A-a I-i couldn't sleep properly at night so that's why,'' She said while shuttering

''But it looks like you cried. You are not lying right?'' He said as he looked at Hyerin's eyes

She couldn't keep the eye contact. She couldn't lie with keeping a eye contact with him.

She lowered her eyes and nodded.

''Umm okay but why couldn't you sleep?" Taehyung asked

"Just nothing, Don't worry," Hyerin answered

"Oh okay, let's go to school,''
He said as they both started to walk

They didn't speak and nor anyone wants to talk. They both were busy with their own thoughts. They both were confused. They know that if they share with each other it would be good but both of them didn't want to.

Soon they arrived at school. They entered their classroom and sat on their seats. Their friends still didn't come as both of them were a little faster today.

Hyerin thought about to talk with Taehyung

''Umm Tae what do you think about earth's nature?'' She asked

''Actually Nature is the main thing of earth's beauty. Earth is so beautiful but did you ever try to think like how earth would look without nature? There would have been no existence of human beings without nature," He said

''But humans are destroying this beauty,'' She said

''Yeah some of them are doing but they aren't bad. There are also so many people who are trying to make it more beautiful. And the ones who are destroying it, they also have reasons,'' He said

Hyerin became a little quiet after hearing it. She didn't know what to say more. But she had another question in her mind. 

''Can we trust humans?'' she asked
