My alarm clock goes off and I slowly open my eyes to read the numbers 7:00am written on my alarm clock in bright red.

I quickly turn it off before it can send one more annoying beep through the air and I roll to my feet to start getting ready for the day.

My mom always taught me that the best way to start your day is to wake up early so that your prepared both mentally and physically.
I'm a very organized person so the thought of waking up even a few minutes late makes me sick to my stomach. That is why I always make sure to set 2 alarms so if the first doesn't go off, the next one is sure to.

This morning I have a year book committee meeting at 8:30, and I have to turn in my scholarship applications to my advisor all before my first class starts at 9:15am so I need to be diligent.

I take a quick shower, put on some makeup, blow dry my hair and curl it nicely before putting on my outfit of the day; blue jeans, a large marvel T-shirt which I tuck a little in the front, a black jacket and my white sneakers. Did I mention I'm a marvel fan?

When I was young my dad introduced me to the iron man movies and from that moment on I was hooked. There was always something about the rush of those movies that made me want to watch more. The courage of the hero's who face evil on a day to day. It's so inspiring! I love all the marvel super hero's but if I had to pick my favorite it would be Spider-Man.
I know, I know everyone says that. They all say that because they like Tom Holland. Me? I just like the hero himself.
The childlike charisma, the way he swings through the city without a care in the world. Man, that's the life! How cool would it be to have abilities like that? I would never have to worry about showing up late.

I grab all my necessities for the day and set them into my backpack nicely as to avoid any misplacements. I told you, I'm an organized person.

The kitchen holds my mom with a fresh plate of eggs and bacon in hand.
"Here you go *insert nickname" my mom says as she sets the plate down next to my brother, Jack who has already chugged down his breakfast and 2 glasses of orange juice.

I look at the clock that now reads, 8:15 and I stuff the food into my mouth before asking Jack if he's ready to go. He replies yes so we say goodbye to mom, hop into my car and head to school.

We get there at 8:25 and I find a parking spot towards the front, thank god. I say goodbye to Jack and race to room 225, where the meeting is being held.

When I walk in I find that they have already started so I walk in quietly and take a seat towards the back next to my friend Justin.
I begin to get a pencil and paper out when I hear my name called.
Looking up I find that everyone's eyes are pinned on me.
"Oh I'm sorry, what did you say?"
Justin talks in a quiet voice, "She asked if you brought the PowerPoint for the yearbook ideas."

In her head:
Oh shoot I knew I was forgetting something! I was so focused on getting here on time I forgot to bring my laptop which has the file is on it.

"Oh I forgot my laptop at home but I can send a file in the group chat if that's okay?" I say embarrassed.

"That's fine, I guess," Zoe says and I don't feel too confident that it's actually fine.
"We will just have to work on other things today since Emma forgot the PowerPoint.

After the meeting ends I pack up my stuff and head towards the door when I'm stopped by none other than, Zoey Taylor
"Oh hey, Zoey sorry again that I forgot the file, I was in such a rush this morning I must have left my laptop on my desk."

She moves closer until she's 3 inches from my face, "I just wanted to let you know that if you don't remember next time we're going to have problems. As yearbook committee president I can't have our team getting behind because someone slips up."
