He slept through the night and did not wake till it was time for breakfast. I felt sick to my stomach. Then a knock came from my door "Minerva" I recognised the voice to be Albus, I instinctively picked up Harry and had him resting on my hip.
I took a deep breath "come in" I turned to hide Harry from Albus even though I knew there would be no hiding what I had done from him. When he entered all he did was smile. "Albus" I did not know what to say I could not even look at him.
"Minerva, I see you have little Harry"
"Albus I could not just leave him there, you never saw how they were treating him" to my amazement he did not argue with me
"Why don't you come down for breakfast I am sure Harry is hungry"
I took Harry down to breakfast, he happily had some porridge as I had a conversation with Filius. Harry quickly became everyone's favourite student even Severus seemed to enjoy his company
"He has is Lily's eyes and her smile," he said I think I saw he smile slightly which he quickly hid
After breakfast, I knew that I had to get things for Harry like clothes, toys and a bed
I went down to Hogsmead and disapparated strait to the Leaky Coldren. I took Harry around all the shops trying to hide his scar from the other shoppers.
Shopping took several hours so it was lunchtime when I got back. I went straight to my room and quickly put together his bed and let him play with his toys his favourite was a small snitch it reminded me of how James used to try and get Lily's attention, how it used to make me laugh.
