The First Time
Wu Xie
Just seen Xiaoge coming from above to their rescue, like an ancient god in his full glory, make Wu Xie's heart flutter with both relief and overwhelming love. He may not said anything to him, for fear that their relationship could strain, as he was not entirely sure Xiaoge loved him back in the same way he did or wanted to take the same risks he had dreamed on for more than ten years, but his love for Zhang Qiling was simply too strong.
He smiled as his heart jolted when he saw Xiaoge use his sword as a kindle to set the damn wall of shell hands on fire, while pulling both Pangzi and him away, in order to avoid them get burned as well. Pangzi, as usually hugged Qiling out of the blue, glad he had once again save them in such an epic way and this time, Wu Xie felt a hint of envy toward his best friend, wanting he could also embrace Xiaoge so openly.
"Xiaoge! I miss you so much! Just where were you? Tianzhen almost crack his skull open tapping you the message!" Pangzi shouted as he grabbed Xiaoge almost for dear life and Qiling looked at Wu Xie with a hint of worry, yet, he simply took them both out of that hell hole that was the shell hands nest to a safer place. They ran.
After a while, they halted and stumble into the floor, catching their breath after a wild run away from their almost end. By then, Wu Xie's head hurt like hell, the pain intense enough for him to wince and even moan, as he try to touch the damage he had done to himself in a desperate attempt to save both Pangzi and what was left of his life.
"Tianzhen, don't go breaking your head like that. A bit more of knockings and you would had kill yourself before Xiaoge could make his godly entrance. Be more mindful of your brothers, my heart can't take you making such reckless stunts and Xiaoge don't appreciate losing you either." Pangzi complained, as Zhan Qiling came to his aid and check his injury.
"Are you okay?" Qiling asked him.
"Yeah, don't worry." He answer casually as he took out an antiseptic painkiller spray to use it on his head, yet Qiling took him from his hand before he could rise his arms to use it.
"Let me." Qiling whisper and then spray his head with the antiseptic, which make him yell in pain for a second before he brace himself for the next wave of pain, before his torture was done and Xiaoge clean the blood from his temple.
"Thank you." Wu Xie whisper and Xioage assented, as he usually did, without saying another word.
"Those shell hands must be the ones set to protect this tomb, by the King of the South Sea. This place is certainly big enough for us to wander in different places for a while at the same time." Wu Xie offer.
"This place is like a maze with numerous cloisters and tunnels and we had just walk around the outermost circle of the maze. We came in by accident this time when the earth collapsed, we need to find a new way out." Qiling said, explained in more detail about what he knew so far about the tomb.
"My uncle was here before. We should try to find any sign he may had left behind, most probably in the main chamber. Also, we must be careful, if the legend of the King of the South Sea is true, then we should beware of the paper soldiers that can be anywhere inside this tomb." Wu Xie concluded.
"Alright, that's the usual cue to keep on moving. Let's go." Pangzi said as he try to stand with a lot of difficulty while Xiaoge helped Wu Xie with little effort.
"Xiaoge, don't be biased, I need more help than Tianzhen. Come help your brother in need." Pangzi protested and Wu Xie smiled, helping Pangzi stand up himself.
However, as Fatty stood, he felt like his legs were made of jelly and could not keep him up properly, no matter how hard he tried it.
"Pangzi, what's wrong?" Wu Xie asked in alarm at the same time Xiaoge got a better look at his stumbling boddy.
