Camilas Pov

I've just woken up for school, I get out of bed and go downstairs seeing my mom cooking breakfast, the rest of my family, my dad and little sister, sat at the table talking.

"Good morning" we all say to each other, I sit down and join in on the conversation. When my mom had finished making breakfast she sets a plate down for each of us, we all talk as we eat. I do the washing up when everyone is done eating and go upstairs to get ready for school.

I go into the bathroom and take a shower, I also wash my face and brush my teeth. I then make my way back into my bedroom, I get an outfit for the day and get dried, I do my make up and hair and then put my outfit on.

I grab my backpack and put the things I'll need for the day in there, like my books, my note book, pencil case, my homework I've finished, almost I'll complete it in homeroom.

When I've got everything I grab my phone off the bed and walk downstairs, I hug my family goodbye and walk to school, it's not far just a 15 minute walk, so I put my headphones in and listen to music on the way.

When I get to school I go to my locker and see my friends, they come over and we all talk until the bell for homeroom rings. Ally and Normani go a different way from Dinah and I, Dinah and I have the same homeroom but ally and Normani are in different ones.

I sit down with Dinah, we were talking about all different things as I finished my homework.

"Lauren, wants to come here for a day" I say as I shove my homework back in my bag

"What? Like come to school for a day? Like in lessons and shit?" She asked, I nod.

"Her mom and dad are okay with it, as long as the principle is and I'll stay with her all day" I say, Dinah nods.

"I mean, is she sure? Have you told her how terrible the people here are?" She asked, I nod.

"Yes but she just wants to be treated like a normal person, she is a normal person but I'm scared people here won't see that" I say, Dinah nods.

"If they're assholes to her the girls and I will stand up for her, you will too and maybe that's all she'll need to be okay, for us all to stand up for her is someone is a dick" Dinah said, I smile and nod.

"Yeh, hopefully" I say, Dinah nods and then the bell goes

"I've got English" I say, Dinah sighed

"I got science" she said, I sigh and check my schedule

"We all have gym 4th, I guess I'll see you then" I say, she nods and we go our separate ways.

All day I could only think about what would happen if Lauren did come here for the day, I don't want to stop her coming because she seems really excited for it but, I'm scared how she'll react and how people will react, I'm going to hers after school so I'll just talk to her more about how much of assholes people are here, and if she still wants to come here for the day I'm not going to stop her.

It was gym and the girls and I meet in the changing rooms, we were all talking as we were changing and then go to the lesson, still all talking even though the coach hated it.

"Mila, told me that Lauren may be coming here for a day soon" Dinah said, they all look at me as we were running around the room.

"What? Isn't that a bit to much for her?" Normani asked, i shook my head

"She says she can handle it, I mean later I'm going over hers so I'm going to talk to her more about this school, you know to see if she will still be up for it" I say, they nod.

"Mila, I understand that Lauren Just wants to be normal-" I cut ally off

"She is normal" I say, ally nods

"I'm not saying she isn't, but, people here...remember that kid who had that speaking problem like two years back? You remember how he was treated?" Ally asked, i sigh and nod.

"If Lauren wants to come here after I talk to her, she's going to and if something did happen to her, I want you guys to stick up for her as well" I say, they nod.

"And we will" Dinah said, the other two nod and I nod as well

"Good" I say, I then change the subject

When the bell went and we got changed and sprayed ourselves with deodorant, it was lunch as we were walking I look to the girls.

"I'm going to talk to the principle, I'll see you in a bit" I say, they nod and I turn the hall to go to the principles office.

I knock on the door and after a 'come in' I open the door and sit down, she looks at me.

"Camila, what can I do for you?" She asked, I smile softly as did she

"Well, my friend Lauren, she wants to come for a day at the school" I say, she nods

"Is she planning on moving here?" Ms lovato asked, i shook my head

"No, she just wants to spend the day in a normal high school" I say, the principle frowns.

"She doesn't go to a normal high school?" She asked, i shook my head

"Shes blind" I say, she nods softly

"Oh, why does she want to come here?" Ms lovato asked, I play with my hands

"She just wants to be treated like everyone else and she wants to experience of going to a high school" I say, lovato nods again.

"Are her parents okay with it?" She asked, I nod

"Yes" I say, she nods "they are going to make an appointment with you and I just want to check they won't be wasting their time" I say, ms lovato nods again.

"Tell them to make the appointment, I would like Lauren to be here as well with them" she said, I smile wide.

"Awesome okay! I'll tell them, thank you ms lovato" I say, she smiles nodding

"It's okay, camila, now go have lunch" she said, I nod and leave after another quick 'thank you' and go find my friends in the cafeteria.

When I did I sit down getting my packed lunch out, I look at the others.

"I talked to the principle, she said that Lauren's parents should make an appointment with her" I say, they smile nodding.

"That's good news" ally said, I nod

"Lauren's going to be so happy" I say smiling, they smile as well nodding

We all keep talking and then soon it was last lesson, I had this lesson alone and all I wanted to do was go to Lauren's house and tell her and her parents that I talk to the principal.

"Yay! Mom please make an appointment" Lauren said, I see Lauren's excited face and couldn't help but smile.

"Okay, I'll go call the school now" Clara said, she left the room and Lauren cuddles up to me more.

"Thank you for talking to your principal" she said, I nod and kiss the side of her head

"It's okay" I say, I stay around Lauren's house for a while longer before going home.
