"i think this is stupid" kio said, watching me brush my hair. "your just mad" i stated while turning to face him. "no" he snapped back.

"yes you are"

"no im not"

"why vinnie? can't you hang out with any other guy?" he whined. "i never said we were anything more than friends"

"but you both are gonna catch feelings then fall in love and boom, i lose both of you" he said before flopping back on the mirror. "thats not true, it isnt that easy" i mentioned. "you know your not allowed to date till your 18 right?"

"kio!" i almost yelled. "what?! im just reminding you!" he stood up. "thats not true! mom let you date at 16!"

"yeah cause im a man, i can take heartbreak" kio stood in the doorway. "im gonna pretend that you didnt just make a sexist comment... but i can take heartbreak. its nothing new" i shrugged. "what?" he asked.

"huh?" i questioned. "you just said its nothing new"

"no i didnt"

"yes you did"

"sorry, im meeting up with vinnie in 15 minutes, gotta go!" i rushed out my room and headed towards the front door. "you two better not get touchy!" he shouted as i closed the door.

"did kio try to kill you?" vinnie laughed, sitting across from me. "yeah kinda" i replied before setting my phone down. "i think hes just paranoid or something" i added.

"or it could be that he has a fat crush on my sister and doesn't wanna tell either of us" he said as i laughed. "that could definitely be it, or he hates the idea of his little sister and bestfriend becoming friends"

"i mean, thats kinda hypocritical since hes tryna be friends with my little sister" vinnie smiled. "meh, i wouldn't worry about it. victoria seems nice and im sure she will make the right decision with kio"

"yeah i hope so" he stated as i glanced up at him, seeing him break his stare and look away, making me instantly smile at his red cheeks and embarrassed expression.
