"Sapphire, where the hell are you?"

Well, at least I know my brother is awake, but I don't get why its my job to make him breakfast. He is eight, you'd think he knew how to pour cereal into a bowl.
"What's wrong Devin?" Im always grumpy when he gets up, he never has a shirt on and shouts even if I am right next to him. My parents told him that his name means 'perfect' but I really think they should have chosen something else. I can hear him stomping down the stairs, ugh I just know he isn't wearing socks, he has unusually sweaty feet so he always makes marks on the floor. He is even clumsier in the morning, I don't get how thats possible.
"Sapphire stop shouting at me, jeez! I just wanted to know, did you set out my stuff for school?"
Is he serious right now oh my god he is so lucky im not in the kitchen where are the sharp things are, "I have school too you know just go get your stu-" I reached for my back, I can feel something kinda pointy under my skin, its like wings are about to sprout. "Just go away Devin!" I need to get out of here.
What is going on with my back? All I can hear is my feet smashing against the ground, I don't even know where I'm running to. I guess anywhere away from my brother is good, my mom is going to be so pissed I left him alone but I really don't care I just need to get away.
I slow down to a fast walk and look behind me to try and see my back, my shirt is too high up to get a good look. But luckily there is a muffin store about a seven minuet run away and I could use their bathroom, I can't handle any more running so maybe I should just walk to the nearest shop even if it's that disgusting hamburger store, why the hell would I go in there. Im vegetarian.

I speed up to a jog my back feels like somebody stabbed my shoulder blades with a fork and it's getting worse.
