Okay so, to explain what "Normal Society" and "Secret Society" and "Colors" stand for. This takes place over 100 years from now, and the government has split everyone into two seperate groups, the Normals and the Secrets. The Normals are people with a good color streak in their hair, i.e.: red, orange, yellow, green, white. I know Alex's color is white, but I'll explain that later. The Secrets colors: blue, purple, black, pink, cyan. Once a couple turns 30, they go to the government and have a child. They stay with the government for 19 years (since it's 9 months for babies to be born). Once the child turns 18, they get their streak, and if the parents are Normals, they go back to the Normal Society. But if their child is a Secret, the child has to go to the Secret Society. The parents streaks have no say in what the child's color is. Alex's streak was black, but something happened. It changed to white. Now, with the help of his friends and sister, he must find a way to the government and ask what happened, without being caught by the guards.
