A Lost Hope
You are my friend, and you are my foe,
Holding my hand yet making it sore,
Being the voice inside my head,
Shushing the others who say instead,
You can see the ugliness in me,
I listen and hear and eventually see,
How you are right, I might as well flee,
Ridding the world from someone sickly,
Excellent says the voice, I have you in my grasp,
Lucky, you have someone who will help you pass,
Don’t listen to others but listen to my whispers,
They only want to hear you…
Stop! Listen to what I say,
You’re stronger than this, come on lets pray,
Tell me what you think, tell me what you hear,
I can help you get rid of this fear,
Walk with me and talk to me,
Once you realise the truth he’ll let you be,
I’m giving you hope take it or leave,
You will be fine once you believe.
