She stopped the car then turned it off before her attention is completely on me. We may not have been friends for that long but I know her well enough to know what she's going to say and I'm not in the mood for it. "Please lecture me later." I begged and she nodded. Once thanking her the two of us headed inside.

We went into the back where everyone is at, trying to work out a plan. My heart stopped in my chest seeing Derek leaning up against the counter arguing with Stiles. He rolled his eyes at something Stiles said before his eyes met with mine. In that moment the whole world seemed to stop as we stared into each other's eyes. It's as if no one else is in the room except us.

"Amelia," he whispered under his breath. I smiled at him as he came over to me, wrapping me up tight in a bone crushing hug. I happily hugged him back, my head rested on his chest. There is no place I'd rather be than in his arms right here right now. "I was so worried about you," he mumbled. "They wouldn't let me see you." He pulled away slightly to look at me, his arms still around my waist.

"That was George's brilliant idea," I smiled sarcastically. "But there's no way they could keep me from you."

He smiled relieved to see me as his strong hands cupped my cheeks. He stared into my eyes before leaning in slowly until our lips connected in a passionate kiss. "I'm gonna puke." Stiles groaned causing Lydia to slap his chest. Once we pulled away he gave me one more tight hug.

"Now that we got the romance out of the way can we get back to our Peter situation?" Stiles asked. Scott sighed and rested his hands against the table. "We can't keep him down there forever." Scott pointed out.

"We could just kill him." Malia stated making me smirk.

"Or not that." Liam frowned at her.

"Guys come on," Derek began getting frustrated. "If he gets out again whats to stop him from killing her?"

The room filled with silence while trying to figure out what to do with him. An idea popped into my head even if it's not a good one. It's still an idea that we can try in the meantime. Derek for sure will hate it and most likely not let me do but it's worth a shot.

"Guys what if I try talking to him? Just the two of us without anyone around." I suggested and Derek immediately shot that down.

"I'm not letting him get that close to you again. Your parents already don't want me around you." He refused.

"I understand your worry and if the roles were reversed I'd feel the same but please give me a chance. You and Scott can wait outside if anything happens."

He gave it some tough thinking before agreeing but only because he knows I wouldn't take no for an answer. We started the drive there and the entire way Derek wouldn't let go of my hand. He has a tight grip on me, afraid of losing me. After getting there I made my way inside while they all waited outside for me.

Let's hope this works or I'm literally dead. He looked up to see who is coming down the stairs and smirked seeing it's me. A look of amusement flashed over his eyes seeing that I'm all alone, no Derek. Little does he know Derek is waiting for me just incase something happens.

"Look who we have here," he grinned as I stood outside his cell. "You're brave coming down here alone."

"We need to talk," I started and he nodded for me to continue. "Just answer me this...what satisfaction would you get from killing me? Sure I'm dead but after, nothing changes except someone is gone?" I asked him while staring deeply into his eyes. This seemed to catch him off guard because he sat there taking it in.

After a moment he looked back into my eyes but with a different look. Not amusement or anger, but one that I can't read. "Never thought of it that way but I suppose you've got a point. Once your gone the world just keeps moving forward only without you." He replied.

"Then why do you have to kill? Things can be different, you can be good."

He sighed and looked down at the ground for a minute then back at me. "Most of my life everyone always saw me as the bad guy, even my own family. Even if I wanted to there's no way Derek would ever trust me again."

"Let me talk to him just as long as you promise to never kill anyone again and stop coming after me and my friends." My eyebrow raised and he nodded his head yes.

"You've got yourself a promise." He smiled. I nodded and said goodbye before heading back outside. A wave of relief washed over Derek's face seeing that I'm alive and okay.

"So?" Stiles asked. I explained everything to them and by the end everyone started pondering over it all. "Wait you guys can't possibly believe a single word that leaves his mouth?" Stiles asked looking around at us.

"I'd like to but he did try killing my girlfriend on multiple occasions." Derek pointed out making me sigh. It's going to take a bit more convincing but they'll come around, they have to. I'm going to talk more with Derek and hopefully get him to agree.

Instead of taking me back to the hospital or home I decided just to go back to Derek's loft. The two of us said goodbye to our friends then went inside where I threw myself down onto the couch. He joined me, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me closer to him. My head rested on his chest as we cuddled close to each other.

"Will you please give him a chance for me?" I asked and he let out a shaky breath.

"I just need some time to think about this." He said and I nodded as I leaned over, kissing him softly. He happily kissed me back as I savored this moment with him.
