As the sun reached higher points in the sky I got warmer. So I stopped by a tree to rest. It was a beautiful day, I couldn't have picked one better to travel by. I ate a pear and a meat pie, drank some flavored water, covered up with a leaf, and fell to sleep.
When I awoke I got up and kept walking. And walking, and walking. Finally I reached a small village. It was nighttime. I found a small cardboard box and spread out my yellow sleeping bag. Then I ate dinner and walked around for a bit. Looking at the shops, peaking through bushes into homes. Seeing what normal villages are like. A human came so close to seeing me I thought I would die. I was that close to getting caught. At one window I saw small children having fun and hopping around, dancing. I missed my family so much. So I wandered and wandered. Soon I was lost. "Carelessness" I heard my mother murmur in my head. I started to cry, silently, but still, crying. I tried to trace my steps. Finally at around 10:30 pm I found my box. No one had touched anything, probably because I left it behind a bush. I open my sleeping bag and crawl in. I think about everything that happened today. It was fun, scary, and exciting. Think about it, me, a little elf going into the big world! Amazing. Slowly I fell asleep.

*****Papa POV****
I wake up, thinking about baking cookies. Again. My life, repeats itself everyday, at least I have my kids and wife to cheer me up. I get off of my mattress and walk into the living room. My son, Seezu was crying near a piece of paper. I grabbed some tissues and headed I've to sit next to him. I squatted on the ground. "Son, whatever is the matter?" I asked curious.
"She left us Papa, she left us!" He wailed rocking back and forth, sniffling.
"Who child, speak up!" My wife, Minky said breezing into the cramped living room. "Haven, she's, she's, g g gone" he whispered. Still rocking and crying. My world paused for a moment as I thought. My dear, precious daughter, left this dump! She is on her way to freedom! My wife would slap me if I did what I wanted too. She's mean sometimes. Truly, I don't really love her, but my parents forced me into a marriage.
I wanted to marry Tooky, but it wasn't allowed. My parents made me bake. After all we have never heard of another elf job.
"Did she leave a note?" My wife focused me back to reality. "Y y y yes" Seezu cried. "Dear boy, I am so sorry. But she is probably happier wherever she is." I said trying to calm him down. "Ledug, come here! Read this!" My wife shoves the parchment paper in my face. "What!" I say grumpily. I hate her sometimes. We have been together for ten years. She bugs me, a lot. "Don't sass me or I will kick you to bloody death" she glares at me. "Calm down. I was just annoyed." I say acting. I take the note from her. Slowly reading everything she said. I was so happy, but I knew, that if she came back one thing wouldn't work. My marriage.****Seezu POV****
I couldn't believe it. My sister, my amazing, brilliant sister, had left. I knew she was going to leave she had always wanted to. And I missed her already, but the scene was for Mum. She would try to capture her and slave her for the rest of her life. Don't get me wrong, Mum's great. It's just, she doesn't act like I picture my mum would act. She holds grudge more than anyone I know. Then again, I'm a tree elf. Big deal. I really hope sis will find something, but I know she won't. Elves have nothing other to do than bake cookies. So bake cookies it is.That day I trudged to the kitchen I work at and trudged back. I thought about Haven a lot. I knew I was going to see her in a few days. She would come back sad and lonely. There are no jobs for other elves. Otherwise I would be out of here. In Haven's letter she mentioned soup. That's because I love to make soup. It's like a delicacy that you have to master. The rich smells of onion, chicken, veggies. All thrown together to become a beautiful harmony. That evening I retired to my mattress early. One waste of a day done. 100,000,000,000 more left. Thank gosh not really. Goodnight Mum. Papa. And Haven. Wherever you may be. And with that I slipped into sleep.
